Thanks for the video, I love hearing your thoughts. For myself as a non-Buddhist, the idea of sequential time as experienced in physical reality colours ideas of reincarnation too much for me. I conceive of all action within the totality of 'All That Is' as unfolding simultaneously. Hence the existence of physical realms such as ours which enable All That Is to experience individual focuses and the sequential, creative flowering which that entails. I imagine that within the ocean of All That Is, there might exist various tonal qualities of consciousness which accounts for our ability to access the information of other focuses which spring from familiar tonal aspects of this infinite ocean. Of course this is all very hard to talk about and probably beyond the grasp of our individualised perspective, but I think the upshot might be much the same as your belief system: that we are not disconnected islands; we are connected in the most fundamental way and would be most wise to live our lives from this perspective.

You have worded it very well indeed. The phrase 'familiar tonal aspects' is very apt. As I see it in Buddhism, there are 'Skandas', karmic imprints from previous lifetimes, sounds like a similar idea. We are drawn to this but not to that - and are repelled by the other! Thank you for engaging :)

@@OffGridMind Cheers, I hadn't heard of Skandas. I'm generally out of my depth talking about the specifics of Buddhism but it's good to consider new ideas and be as fluid as possible when considering the nature of reality! Thanks again.
