DEATH BATTLE: Bowser Vs Eggman - Largo Reacts

With the whole armies thing, apart from the whole Conquering World vs Conquering Universe thing, I love how the whole "teamwork and loyalty" thing is displayed. And it all came into play right here (30:41) The Death Egg, beyond all doubt, is well among the most powerful tools Doctor Eggman has at his disposal, among other things. So when Eggman orders Sage to fire upon the warring armies (Note: Not at Bowser, at the armies), both react, with one side knowing full well that when it fires, little will be left of them. Immediately Eggman's army is hightailing it, booking it for the hills to avoid being destroyed in the blast. They know without a shred of doubt that unless they're a Badnik that gets results, Eggman has no qualms with destroying them as soon as Sonic himself would. Orbot and Cubout, Eggman's personal servant robots, are the only ones who remain, likely out of fear or shock moreso than anything. Eggman himself is quick to vacate the area the second he can. The Eggmobile can certainly take the explosion, but any unnecessary damage places him at the risk of any stragglers who might survive the Death Egg's laser. Bowser's Army? They're not sure what to thing. Some big moon-thing just moved in the sky and now there's something green in front of it. They know it's going to be bad if it hits, but they don't know what's going on. Bowser's seeing the laser, recognizing where it's been aimed, and without any hesitation is preparing to leap. Bowser's army is held together in one spot, waiting for the spectacle, all that's keeping them there at this point is hope and their faith in their king. And right on cue too, because just before impact Bowser comes flying in from the sky, from well away from where the laser was aimed and places himself DIRECTLY between certain death and his army. Had the laser hit Bowser's army would've been decimated, reduced essentially to zero on the spot. They're tough, but nowhere near tough enough to tank the Death Egg. So Bowser takes it. In these few short moments, Bowser is tanking his army's certain demise, basically eating up the full force of a Star Destroying Space Base, before essentially dying as a result in the name of his people. In the dust and ashes, everything is quiet. Eggman, of course is relatively unscathed, his Eggmobile dinged up and cracked but functional. Which is when the first metaphorical bombshell hits, in the form of *Dark* *Magic*. Bowser Junior, holding Kamek's wand, in his father's place, has put himself in front of his father's recovering body. Behind them? Who's army is it that emerged from the debris and messy battlefield leftovers? Who's army sat in front of certain death unafraid, knowing their leader would fight tooth and claw for them as much as they would for him? Who's army is it that give every bit of their love, trust, support, and strength to their leader because unlike most evil leaders they have earned that status? Who's army is it, that fall into ranks behind their leader, ready to stand by and support him for whatever new gimmick or toy this soon-to-be scrambled Eggman could throw at them? I'll tell you one thing for sure. It isn't Eggman's. Eggman would sacrifice his army in a heartbeat, save for a few, all to attain victory. Bowser would risk his life for even the lowliest Goombas in his ranks, because even the least worthy soldiers in his army are worth more than enough to him. I really went overboard on this

37:10 Bowser actually does have accesses to some advance war machines. The Koopa Clown Car is his own equivalent to the Egg Mobile. In the Galaxy games he has giant mechs and a space dreadnought, and in Yoshi's Safari his kids had various mechs. Except for the Clown Car, he uses these less then his wood, iron, and stone based structures and artillery, but he has used them.

Another thing not considered, but subtley hinted at the end of the battle, is that since Eggman is an asshole to those with free will, it's fully possible that his trump cards (all of which have free will) could potentially abandon him given that they aren't willing to fight for him. Metal's rebelled before. Sage would probably be the exception, but it would only do so much when Bowser's whole army would die for him.

To give more of a description on Infinite. He was once the leader of a mercenary team known as the Jackal Squad, but after losing to Eggman, he decided to join him. I kid you not, on their FIRST MISSION after joining him all of the agents were wounded/killed by Shadow the Hedgehog, leaving only Infinite (or as he was known at the time, Zero) to get obliterated by him. Shadow lets him live but not before calling him worthless. This essentially traumatizes Infinite and sets him up to become Eggmans newest toy, making him the newest user of the phantom Ruby. Despite how epic this backstory sounds, he’s honestly really poorly executed in the game he’s in and is kinda missed potential, leading to many fans disliking him. Due to this, the animator and storyboard artist thought it would be funny to basically get rid of him immediately. Although, according to them, he didn’t die, he simply laid there and contemplated the fact that he just got oneshot by a Thwomp.

Yeah Bowser’s Army is way better than Eggman’s. Something g else they didn’t bring up was the Koopa Troop’s minion spirit, which makes even his weakest soldiers able to take on threats that Bowser himself fights against, meaning Eggman’s robots would be facing an entire army with comparable strength to Bowser, the Badniks would be getting torn to pieces.

Eggmans main advantage was metal sonic. Being able to directly scale to sonic greatly improves his chances, and eggmans best mechs are up there too But bowsers strongest stuff at minimum makes him completely invincible, magic on a level thatd let him make some moves in marvel and cosmic level durability They also glossed over how much the dream stone can do. On top of the wishing thing, he can also just heal any damage done by eating food he can make, on top of making a dreamy version of his army. This would easily let bowser out last eggman Also yeah bowsers way better overall. While no one is on metal sonics level, having a proper command structure alone makes bowsers army far more structurally sound and consistent

@ TBF even in the episode they mentioned how Kamek alone completely counters Metal Sonic, being able to stop him copying powers and stealing the Emeralds so he can’t go Super. Speaking of that’s honestly why I think Bowser should have won the Trump Cards category instead of it being a tie, even if they cancel each other out, Kamek being able to swap all of Eggman’s good stuff like the Phantom Ruby and Emeralds means he wouldn’t get much of a chance to use them lol. Yeah and unlike Super Forms in Sonic, Mario characters I don’t believe have ever been knocked out of their invincibility power ups, so they have true invincibility unlike the Super forms.

@@cinnabarmanx4214 pretty much, anyone who has a star (or the star rod/grand star in bowsers case) has never really been hurt unless it's countered by another star (the star spirits against the star rod in paper mario as an example) and the star has only ever run out of time otherwise. Considering the amount of stars bowser could have at max, he could have a star on all of his top generals to tear through everything not named metal sonic and still have over 200 of the things in reserve

@@cinnabarmanx4214 star forms can be damaged, if the situation is falling on the void or being crushed by walls, drowning and lava are also a factor, but other than that, unlike the chaos emeralds, they don't become a set, they are liteally absorbed , so there is no magic for nullifying a superstar stage, but they have the same flaw, time, but stars have a bigger advantage even being a shorters state, nothing but the star rod can stop it, even another star can't damage it, its a stalemate, and the star rod has the power of stars, and its a collectable, meaning sooner or later bowser is going to get his hand on it again

This makes me excited for when they eventually do Gru VS Megamind (Despicable Me VS Megamind), since Gru has his Minions and Doctor Nefario, and Megamind has his Brainbots and Minion. Add on all their wacky gadgets, and we may have another intense army battle on our hands YES Largo, Gru VS Megamind is in fact confirmed to happen for real They’ve already made a reference to both movies in Season 9, in Scarlet Witch VS Zatanna, where Zatanna made the Megamind “PRESENTATION!” reference, and in Omni-Man VS Homelander, the song for the fight is literally called “Diabolical Invincible Me”

I don’t know if you were reading the little info things during the analysis at teh end. It says that as of the latest Mario game Bowsers troop number 98 million members all of which can use any Mario power up. Also Robotniks robots are just robots I think. No small animals.

imo eggman lost the SECOND he got cocky and decided to reveal himself. eggmans mech is a punching bag for bowser, which forced metal sonic to tank the brunt force of his attacks, instead of fighting to his strengths and avoiding him with speed. as a bowser enthusiast, i do think eggman had a pretty solid chance of winning, but his own ego forced metal sonic in an unfavorable situation.

Eggman got his ass nerf to Hell as by mentioning so much stuff that he has and not use it in the fight, also where the speed of eggmans army go if the speed factor was kept bowser will be hitting air 100% of the time and if sage power sure it not much but she could control a huge number of Robots that eggman have used before making it even harder for bowser. The magic staff that bowser juniors have dose not have infinite range last I check so how did that hit the death egg from the ground to space like that is BS in all the wrong ways. This part is personal opinion don't judge too much: Bowser sure has a lot of powers built in I can accept that but summoning a grand start out of nowhere is just showing the people that bowser was set to win and eggman will lose not matter the out come witch is not a fun thing to look at . Bowsers trump cards need to be obtain from multiple places that are far away from each other so for the first part portion if he had all of it from the start then the fight will be redundant as a result of that eggmans on the other hand he has most of it near him and he pretty much make them on his own even better HE OWNS THEM in general the phantom ruby have prototype variants that are op as hell on there own and are currently in eggmans arsenal meaning he can use it at anytime he needs them + the eggdragun speed got deleted in here it was able to move at the speed of sonic himself and you are telling me that bowser shell roll could reach him even if he was slower then the snail nah I call that cap right now. Bowser won bc of BS and hard nerfs on eggmans side. in a actual fight i will like to see truly win as I cant rule out that bowser did not had all the allies he had so I wont say who should win or loose as I just hate seeing a unbalance fight that had the victor decided from the start by making one side look cool at the first few frames but then trashing everything after it. The animator did a great work on the animation so no hate for him.

@@iLiketoLaugh123 The problem with that ending is the fact that bowser dose not have the wonder flower built in as if that were true there was no point to start the fight in the first place and no i dont think bowser will go get the wonder flower in mid fight specially when eggman is in the light form of his and thanks to the speed he will gain eggman could snatch that flower and use it for himself so yeah there is the logic that makes most sense in my view.

@@hypertension1011 I don't think it's out of the question for him to get the Wonder Flower (or any item) mid-fight. In a battle of this scale, there are countless different scenarios that could play out, it all depends how it's set up. Yes, Eggmans speed would pose a problem, but it's not impossible to work around. For example, Bowser could have the Wonder Flower brought to him by a Boo that has gone intangible (and he himself could also be made intangible by another Boo while waiting). Sounds cheap, but it's technically possible. Another solution would be to have Kamek or some other Magikoopa carry it. We don't know where the Wonder Flower is, if the fight assumes Bowser's army has access to it, perhaps it's just in Kamek's pocket the whole time. Magikoopa can teleport, so they could quickly bring it to Bowser if needed. Or if no one can reach Bowser in time, if someone smart enough is carrying the flower (Kamek, Jr., any of the Koopalings), what's stopping them from using the Wonder Flower themselves? That's where the teamwork aspect comes in, Kamek and Ludwig especially could wreak havoc with that thing and cover Bowser when he's outmatched. Finally, since we don't know where all powerful items are, who's to say Bowser DOESN'T have them just shoved up his shell? Maybe they're all rattling around in there, Wonder Flower, Star Rod, the Dream Stone, perhaps even the Pure Hearts... Again, it sounds dumb, but it's technically possible and requires no prep time. What I'm trying to say is, you can make arguments for both sides to win. The alternate scenarios are ONE way things could go. Depending on the setup, a lot can change. It's important to remember that a death battle isn't the only possible option for how things could go, it is ONE fight designed to be engaging and fun to watch. Both fighters COULD immediately go for the items/abilities that would cause an instant/near instant win, but where's the fun in that? I think Bowser won in the end because, in general, he has access to more bullshit that's fairly easy to use; in contrast to Eggman, who also has access bullshit, but it is, unfortunately, more complicated to use.
