Most people disagreeing with the outcome assume Doomsday only develops immunities/defenses. This is incorrect. Hunter/Prey already established Doomsday also develops offensive abilities to mess with his foe (canceling out a chronal energy being like Waverider or generating a negative energy field to tear apart the Radiant). Heck, even in Death of Superman, Supes remarked just punching Doomsday was starting to hurt his fists. Perhaps if this was mentioned in the episode there would be less bellyaching (ok maybe not the "Hulk's strength is the solution to all" bandwagon, but at least those on the fence would be better convinced).

You bring up some good points about how Hulk would get over taxed so his healing ability would just stop working and eventually he would just revert to Bruce Banner. And Doomsday, come on! He was engineered to be unstoppable. Brute force was never going to be enough to kill him, no matter how angry and thus how strong Hulk could be. Hulk gets an A for effort but an F for execution.

How to permanently eliminate Doomsday ((Not kill but eliminate the problem)) If Batman creates a device to amplify Super Man's punch at a molecular level. Super Man can punch Doomsday so hard that his molecules immediately separate and de-polarize making them separate elements and separate compounds. Not killing him but in fact in all technically erasing him. Due to the De-polarization he cannot reconnect his molecules to reform and because he's been separated but not killed in all technicality he's gone. Forever. 👍 This is how my OC kills Omnipotent unkillable mother F**kers with a single punch. He can absorb the energy and power used in any attack for 10 minutes and then redirect it into a single attack so a Omnipotent OC or character fights my OC and tries beating punching or any attack on him for those ten minutes with all there power and then that one punch, breaking all reality, breaking all space time, just throwing the fist is him hitting you because of the raw power of what he absorbed and he will completely destroy any character no matter what rule you make. My OC is a Omnipotent God buster. I want your opinion on this ability and any arguments you have that will contract it because I could always use the improvement. If I remember correctly, when the Fantastic 4 shot the Hulk into space, he landed on a planet where he was forced to fight to the death with many kinds of creatures. So during this time, Bruce Banner made a deal with the Hulk that allowed him to retain his intelligence while in Hulk form.

Over the course of 5 minutes the Magic Carpet went from Arabia to Greece to China and back to Arabia. That's Mach 33, Strange's cape can't react to that speed.

Aladdin's Magic Carpet vs Dr. Strange's Cloak of Levitation: The Cloak of Levitation has amazing durability. Resistance to damage from the elements, physical attack, and mystical attacks, (for example, the cloak has withstood the direct blow from the enchanted Asgardian crowbar of the Wrecker which is able to cause earthquakes, demolish buildings, and even hold off Thor in single combat). The rug doesn't stand a chance. The only advantage the carpet holds is in speed. Using Baghdad as modern day Agrabah and Shanghai as the destination during the 4 minute song "A Whole New World" we find that the Magic Carpet is capable of traveling over 7,000 miles in less than four minutes. This works out to a cruising speed of just over 100,000 miles an hour. Very impressive, but speed alone is not enough to damage a cloak that can resist magic and physical blows from demigods. Kevin Jong good question. But it becomes moot when you figure that the Cloak could simply envelop the Carpet and fly into a bonfire. The Cloak would easily survive while the Carpet would ignite the and burn to ash. Furthermore, if the Cloak is strong enough to hold out against blows that shatter buildings, it stands to reason that the Carpet couldn't provide enough force to break the hold and would inevitably be dragged to a fiery death. I maintain that the Cloak would handily win this battle.

i don't have a problem with the outcome really its only 1 small gripe. theres that 1 comic where hulk is the last human on earth and he constantly gets literally eaten away to almost nothing, then still comes back each day. i dont think hulk can get rid of doomsday for the whole always coming back thing, but hulk probably wouldn't stay dead either

Zach Collins Hulk can bend and break adamantium and vibranium. He lifts a mountain range that ways around 150 billion tons. He beat the nameless one which destroyed the universe. Pulled two tectonic plates together. World breaker hulk nearly tears apart the Manhattan and almost sinks the east coast in one step. Destroyed numerous planets. Thunder clapped an entire time barrier, and many other things. Doomsdays immunity is linear and doesn't scale to other characters. The only reason he was able to beat superman was because it took him multiple tries. And since this is the first time facing hulk he isn't immunes to him. World breaker hulk would absolutely demolish doomsday and eventually doomsday will beat the hulk but after he dies a couple of times. And 90% of the hulks body mass was incinerated by vector and the hulk endured the pain long enough to punch him and he regenerated almost INSTANTLY (so those spikes would've done nothing or barely anything). Lastly it doesn't say anywhere that I've seen that his healing factor gets weaker as he gets beat up, hulks powers have no limits and that includes his healing factor too.

I do like Bat In The Sun for the effort they put into their battles, but ultimately their outcomes come down to which of the characters is more popular as they decide the battle based on a poll rather than deciding for themselves which fighter will actually win. I prefer the debate in shows like Death Battle and my favourite Versus Series dudes I'm subscribed to; sometimes making the controversial decisions other people don't have the guts to. It's why I've stopped watching Darth Vader fights as I don't think my inner fanboy could cope with Vader losing against Exar Kun and Darth Krayt and the like...

From what I understand late era Dr. Strange can unmake reality and essentially, should the multiverse of DC crash Doomsday into Marvel's primary universe, Dr. Strange could literally unmake Doomsday by making it so he never existed to begin with. It would have to be looked into to confirm though.

Broly vs Doomsday? Doomsday's never encountered ki before and Broly has enough to destroy a quarter of the universe in weeks at the most. That would definitely kill Doomsday and he might not be able to become immune to it (key word: might) since it's metaphysical in nature.

If I may ask something: would you kindly take advantage of your Death Battle Cast spinoff and properly explain to folks why Kirito from Sword Art Online cannot be in Death Battle because it's impossible to cross-direct reality with his videogames? Seriously, it's like asking who would win, a musketeer or a knight chess piece. Or like asking what the color 5 smells like. Like playing chess with checkers. OR, if you have an idea on how to do it, please share your wisdom, I'm running out comparisons to make.

Still disagree with your thinking. If Hulk can survive a black hole, then Hulk can survive a beating from DD and maintain the healing factor. That's just science, because if DD could hit Hulk with more force than a black hole generates, *he would thereby generate a blackhole.* No generated black hole means less force, which means Hulk's healing factor can withstand, which means Hulk can keep getting stronger until he is strong enough to kill DD. Yes, DD comes back later, but 1) Hulk's already one the DB, and 2) the cycle just repeats. Unless you can show DD hitting with more force than a black hole (and enough force to destroy an entire universe) then your argument just doesn't work. Sorry. :P

Nick, I really have to know, why did you neglect to factor in so many details from the Hulk's background? You factored in EVERYTHING for Doomsday, why not Hulk too? The introductions even hinted at some of the more nuanced aspects of Hulk's background coming into play, so I was severely disappointed to see them totally ignored in the battle. I have a feeling that Hulk still would have lost, but that battle could have had so many more layers. :I
