Death Battle Prediction: Megazord VS Voltron

Because it's a reboot with drastic changes to the main cast. The original Voltron series takes precedent, as it is the original material.

I chose not to, for two reasons. 1) The Voltron Force almost always start off a fight in their Lions, so the likelihood that there would be any hand-to-hand combat was minimal. 2) This video was already super long and tiresome as is. xP

JaruJaruJ it's just my own opinion, but I do feel that the rangers as individual fighters without their zords can beat the individual Voltron pilots.

i agree on every thing but the planet busting. there is several examples in the original of voltron tanking planet destroying collective fire from fleets. keep in mind that the fleet also had a few ships that by themselves could destroy a planet.

Well maybe I missed it, but I watched the entirety of the original Voltron series in prep for this video, and I don't recall seeing anything like that. Maybe point out a specific example?

Ah yes, this video. I watched all the major Megazord VS Voltron videos in prep for this prediction as well, including this one, and he didn't get a lot of things right, including, for example, Voltron's height. And when I asked for a specific example I meant a specific episode of Voltron in which he tanks planet-busting attacks. If you catch my drift.

If you use the Toy Stats for the Megazord then it's 333 feet tall, and Voltron is 300 feet tall, so that's probably what you're thinking of. But arguably using those stats is even worse for the Megazord, cuz the toy stats have him at 86 tons, whereas the Super Sentai stats have it at 570 tons. So yeah. No good things for the Megazord. xP

The Megazord is actually taller than Voltron at about 330 feet.

As I said in the video, there are two sets of stats one can use. There's the Super Sentai Stats, which have the Megazord at 137 feet tall and weighing 570 tons, or the Toy Stats, which have the Megazord standing 333 feet tall and weighing 86 tons. I chose to focus on the Super Sentai Stats for reasons I explained in the video.

Megazord can fly, too. But rarely. Voltron is much more durable seeing as he can survive the pull of a black hole comet. And Megazord's firepower and attack power are superior.

There is no direct evidence of the Megazord flying at all. It doesn't fly in the show, comics, movies, or games. The Megazord in the 1995 Movie was the Ninja Falcon Megazord, which is NOT the Dino Megazord. It's the Dino Megazord that is going to be in this Death Battle.The Megazord showed up on the Moon in the NES game, but we never actually see it flying, which means that in all likelihood it just teleported up there, as it has been established that the Rangers have teleportation technology, whereas there is no evidence in this game, or in any other medium, that the Megazord can fly. I think the Megazord may have an edge in the form of its Ultimate Attacks as far as fire power is concerned.

Not a fan of the original Voltron series personally. I found it to be very meh. The Netflix Voltron is certainly better. And Power Rangers was definitely fun.

It would be interesting to be sure, although I'm not sure what Ultron can do. Not very knowledgeable in comics you see. Although in general I've often liked the idea of Brainiac VS Ultron.
