As a fan of both Series, I honestly really liked the outcome and the animation of this Battle. I also really liked the sound effect of Ice Drain from Persona 3 when Weiss used an ice attack in the beginning of the battle. I really liked that Weiss pulled out all the stops in this Battle with the Rapier combat. I liked that she used the different Dust Types like Ice, Wind, and Fire. It was great to see her use that ice portal attack and her using Time Dilation again. I really liked that she was able to fight alongside her Summon and had multiple Summons in this fight. I'm happy and surprised that Weiss was strong enough to break Artemacia. I'm really happy with how realistic and satisfying this fight turned out.

I'm glad to see they didn't do Mitsuru dirty like they did Tifa, all because of Yang's aura. I mean those things have a fucking limit, but we never saw how much damage Tifa was doing to Yang's aura at all. I mean take one limit break after another has to do a serious number on her. Not to mention the attacks from Tifa she took earlier as well. Here, we see Mitsuru show exactly how more experience, power, and durability can be a dangerous thing to face against even if you have more attack options and speed. If you're attacks don't do the damage needed to win against their defense, strength, and experience. All the speed and options of attacks in the world will matter very little in a life or death match. I mean it's like shooting at a tank with a variety of different types of handguns and machine guns.

Amber pretty much summed up my opinion on the outcome. I love Wiess, but I'm glad she lost since before this fight came out, everyone believed Weiss was going to win, but not because they believed she could win, but just for the fact that DB is a part of Rooster Teeth now. I can understand that since I do disagree with Yang vs Tifa, but this shows that they are willing to accept that the characters from the company they work for can be defeated by characters from other worlds. Still, I think in the future when they use Rooster Teeth characters, they should just have them fight other RT characters.

I pretty much agree with the result of this battle, but it does bug me a bit that they didn't address Mitsuru's crippling weakness to fire. Also seeing Weiss be killed was harder than most death battles.

Weiss still loses, She isnt much experienced with any element besides Ice, she may have used fire here and there but its never been anything major, and this is Persona, meaning that once they unlock their ultimate personas, while their Elemental weakness stays, they also gain a new cocerage for it being the Dodge/Evade skills, giving them higher evasion, so realistically this would mean Mitsuru would have high reaction speed to dodge weiss’ Fire anyways

It's a nice call back to her instant kill move from the persona 4 arena games. But Weiss ain't getting up from that. And plus from the death battle cast that came after we know they wanted a more game death animation.

The F Zero anime that you mentioned does exist called F Zero GP Legend in North America that was aired in FoxBox (before it was changed to 4KidsTV), though it only lasted like 20 episodes I think; in Japan it was known as F Zero Falcon Densetsu which lasted 51 episodes. I really like that anime as a kid if wasn't for Super Smash Bros. that introduced me to other Nintendo characters. It's a decent show, as I wish for more anime from Nintendo besides Kirby and Pokemon. My pick has to be Captain Falcon, but then again, that's just my choice. I know I was a little salty from the Mega Man Battle Royal Death Battle as I chose Mega Man X (my favorite) lost, but I got used to it later on. Also, that thumbnail though.

They are similar in some ways, like the fact that personas can interact with each other in different ways and that they tend to focus on one skill type, but unlike stands, shattering personas won’t kill the user, they can learn more of a variety of skill move sets including buffs, debuffs, shields, heals, physical and magical attacks. Starting from persona 5, they also added gun moves. Also, the main protagonists have the power of the wildcard, which enables them to summon and fuse different personas. Individual personas can be evolved by strengthening the user’s heart.

You are correct that Cage, Johnny Cage to be exact, is a Mortal Kombat character, one of the firsts as far as I am aware though he typically wasn't one of the major characters until recent games like MKX and 11. He wasn't necessarily a joke character but he wasn't too impressive in the older games and due to him typically getting killed off in various adaptions, everyone assumed he was the Kenny of MK, always dying even though canonically he only died once before MK Armageddon where everyone died. Now with MKX and 11, he has been getting a push and has become more impressive. His whole deal is he is a martial artist and a movie star, I think in one of the games he takes part in the Mortal Kombat Tournament just to show people he can actually fight and its not just stunt doubles and special effects. He also has super human powers, namely his 'Shadow powers' which is a green glow he can summon around himself to augment his attacks and even fire off balls of green energy to knock people back. One of his most impressive, but sadly 100% situational abilities is that he can manifest a green aura around himself that seems to allow him to withstand attacks from gods, namely Shinnok, a fallen Elder God which is above regular gods and Shinnok prior to this was wiping the floor with everyone. This ability though, as stated is 100% situational, it will only come out if someone Johnny loves is in danger, otherwise its useless so it won't come out in the fight. For overall feats, he is at the very least a bullet dodger. The one clip they showed at the end of the Death Battle where he was punching someone in the nuts, he was punching another MK character called Kano in the nuts, as Kano was about to shoot him with an automatic weapon. Basically, Johnny was able to do the splits and get below the firing range of the gun before Kano even had a chance to pull the trigger and fire the bullets, and he's fought other bullet dodgers before like Sonya and won so he's at least that fast though potentially he's lightning speed as he has fought the fallen Elder God, Shinnok who can keep up with Raiden, Raiden himself is stated to be fast as lightning and likely faster than it. He's also fought both Scorpion and Sub-Zero, Scorpion has managed to defeat Raiden in battle and Sub-Zero's older brother was able to fight and defeat gods and Sub-Zero is stronger so there is potential for Johnny to be lightning speed but at least he is bullet dodging speed. As for strength, since he is an MK character, he is capable of very easily tearing people apart. Some of his fatalities include karate chopping heads in half and upper cutting them off as well as just ripping them in half and if we scale him to his daughter, Cassie, Cassie with one of her fatalities is able to, after shooting up the victim's body, then kick them in the crotch so hard that their entire skeleton pops out which I imagine even with the bullet wounds, still requires a lot of strength. Effectively he is a faster than bullets, possibly fast as lightning, martial artist who can easily tear human beings apart with his bare hands. I am not sure what Captain Falcon can do besides what I have seen in Smash, however I do recall in an anime he has that apparently the Falcon Punch is so strong it just vaporized a guy it punched so assuming this is correct, I imagine Cap will be stronger than Cage but I could very well be wrong. Either way, you are very much correct that he is an MK character.
