Uhmm noo... Spongebob is universal at absolute best and speed wise, he cant do shit against characters with inmesurable speed. He lost so hard against: Trunks, Silver, Thor, Vegeta, Sun Wukong, Scarlet Witch, Zatanna, Black Adam and Apocalypse.

27:00 Kinda couldn’t because 1 spoilers for anyone who isn’t fully caught up on the manga As for 2: these episodes are made and finished MONTHS In advance before it’s released This episode was scripted and fun is he’s before gear shift over drive and true devil Union were things in the manga. They made it before Deku and Asta got their most recent super forms in the series. As for Gear shift, the episode and animation was made well before that quirk was a thing. But they just BARLEY had enough time to go back and add to the script a segment about gear shift. But it was way to late to add to the fight or conclusion. And also by the time they added gear shift into the script. Only the knowledge that it can speed you up was a thing. It being able to slow someone down or even Dekus gear shift over drive form. We’re introduced WAY to close before the episodes release it was far to late to simply go back and add that information into it But non the less I see your point. I’m just saying you can’t blame them for not mentioning information that didn’t exist at the time of the recording lol

That wasn’t the main reason why I don’t like Deku Asta. I knew it was made months in advance, but I wanted more stuff from the manga which I didn’t mind entirely for MHA, but it was for Black Clover. The main crux on why it’s my least favorite of the season was entirely based off of Asta’s characterization in the fight he was out of character and was treated like a full on meathead which he isn’t at all.

19:04 For me the ending is entirely ruined simply by well… shit ass logic. Even with the argument everyone uses to excuse it. Why TF should be stop mid sentence? He doesn’t freaking know the lighting was absorbed and it clearly wasn’t as it destoryed Apocalypses body. Maybe the wisdom of Zuhuti told him it was gone. But then that makes no sense cause the living lightning is what grants him acess to Zuhuti lol

That’s not how the power works to my knowledge and it clearly wasn’t absorbed because the attack destoryed Apocalypses body. You can’t absorb an attack that still effects you lol. Especially if there’s zero convancie that he absorbed it And also even if Adam did feel the power leave his body that was also conveyed horribly. Like if something wasn’t their intention in the story telling it can’t be used as the explanation most of the time if that makes sense.
