I feel like this is going to be really great content for you once they have all the kingdoms launched. Always going to be fresh content when switching between campaigns. If it takes roughly 8-10 episodes to complete a campaign, you’ll always have fresh playthroughs to keep your audience engaged.

I feel like Kingdoms did DD1 better then DD1 by a mile, I much prefer not having to deal with my favorite characters getting overleveled and not having to lose access to potentially an entire party due to stress levels.

FYI - I didnt have to unlock Bigby via a quest - Like Reynald. He was just available for selection upon my first Confessions run. I didn't even know it might need to be unlocked until you mentioned it.

He's available as soon as you've installed the DLC. I had a spare spot to fill for my Act 4 boss and was quite surprised by his initial loadout (and only slightly disappointed he couldn't survive a single DB trigger lmao)

wouldn't call dd2 1.5 as it is structally differnet from dd1. Even the fact that a character basically can' t be upgraded unles you're near your stagecoach changes how you feel about doing quests and fighting. Most o fit feels mundane since you don't really get anything out of it.
