Germanium Filter also! it sounds extremely reactive to guitar output pickups. i play a KC jag with high output pickups and my germ filter sounds totally different to the sounds in this video. great tones nonetheless

I have this and the Apocalypse on my board, love them both. I can’t imagine not having this one though. They both play very well with the EQD Special Cranker (in both ge and si). So many glorious sounds with those 3 I need no other dirt. I do wish the volume trimmer was external but whatever. Love DBA

I use Fender vintage reissues into Analogman Prince of Tone, into this here DBA Germanium Filter, into a 65 Princeton 1/12 reissue with Jensen P12R. The reason I say all this is because it’s an extremely elusive sound. It’s like Velvet Underground and Nico. It’s very fuzzy but with total overdrive clarity, very satisfying. I’ve had $500 germanium treble boosters and handwired EP Boosters and not one comes close to this pedal. I love 60’s tones and indie rock. I could never live without this pedal now.

Im glad you said this. Its not exactly a mystery, but its something I havent thought about until right now, and I was going to buy one today. I hate pedals with just no simple volume control

I fuckin love this pedal !!! it stacks so well with my fuzz factory. Rolling the guitar volume back sounds amazingly jangly clean with the slight break up on my ‘62 JM pickups. DBA seems to do reverb/ fuzz and delay/ fuzz pedals so well (dream machine/ reverberation machine) i feel like they did CLEAN and fuzz on this pedal and its amazing (youll get what i mean as you play with guitar vol) I came here to curb my GAS… i cant stop thinking about the fjord fuzz Odin and the only way for me to get it is to sell my GF. I know i will regret it if i do. 🤘🤘🤘 thanks for sharing the GF love
