My father was a Vietnam veteran and had PTSD the rest of his life. He made his PTSD my PTSD, you'll understand it once you lived it. I knew his fears, I knew what set him off, I knew the smells or sounds that would set him off. He's been gone since '94 and I still experience his PTSD. He tried to mask it was beer but we saw right through it. The VA didn't help, they didn't listen, they are worthless today as their were back then. Our veterans deserve so much more as they laid down their lives for us.

I believe that saying, but struggle with it also. I was married for 30 years, and my Son's death tore us apart. I'm not blaming my Son but my husband decided alcohol was the answer. He turned mean and nasty, I had no choice but to leave. We divorced 3 years ago and he passed away 6 months ago. He chose not to take his medication and said he wanted to be with our Son. I carry so much guilt. I still loved him dearly. It's been really tough grieving them both. I feel so alone. I have a 24 year old daughter and it's been extremely difficult dealing with her. She has so much hate in her heart. I can only pray for her and I'll be praying for you also. God Bless 💕

My son passed away March 2020. He was the most beautiful loving soul anyone would ever want to know. A week after he passed I was watching a local news about a man who was offering balloon creations to put out on lawns to commemorate past love ones. Birthdays. Graduations. I was watching it thinking I could do this for my son. I reached out to that person. I fell asleep crying my eyes out. I fell asleep desperate despair and grief. I suddenly woke up because I heard something outside the front door. I went to the door opened it and there was a Amazon package. When I went to go pick it up I looked up and there was a pure white sort of silver balloon tangled in the bushes. I have, had ptsd.its kinda like, you think it will go away, and it does get managed, but then something comes around to trigger it. It's really hard to explain. The smallest things are so hard to deal with,, such as a baby crying,, car doors slamming,, people walking towards you even. One day I was having a hard time, and I think the only person that could see what was happening was a veteran that came through my line at work. I could see the compassion in her face. Other people just thought I wasn't doing my job. But she understood.

I think this is my favorite reading Matt has done. My husband took his life in February 2022-8 months ago and I cannot convey the pain, guilt, and confusion. My very best friend & soulmate just died and he was like a son to me - he was only 30 & it was accidental. It's been 4 months and my heart & whole being is so totally broken. I miss him so much! I feel so sorry for this poor young man and his family 😢 Well done with this reading Matt, you are absolutely amazing. I just know to take his own life and the way he did he must’ve been in a lot amount of emotional pain. I pray 🙏 that my cousin is at peace and with others that has transitioned. Hang in there. You are worthy of it. And I know your father would want you to go on.
