Today I would like to approach the subject of death, in Animism, as the transformation of relationships within human social groups and how it "forces" certain behaviours in order to maintain ongoing relationships after death. Hope you enjoy it!

The indigenous North American tribes of the Pacific Northwest (who fished) had a lovely tradition of saving the skeleton of the fish they ate whole and returning it to the water, where, they believed, it would transform back into a fish, so that it could continue to procreate and bring them the next generation of fish the following year. I just want to say that your videos on animism have greatly expanded my mind, I've started developing my relationships with not only those around me but my environment as well, and I have gone from a hard nosed reconstructionist to someone who is very much animistic in their approach. I don't know if it qualifies as truly animist or not, truthfully. But I know that my new emphasis and transformed practices no longer feel "Norse pagan" exactly though Norse influenced to be sure. I have been sharing your videos whenever relavent (which is often because I am in many pagan and religion communities). I of course do not agree with everything you say, but I still wanted you to know the huge impact you've had on my practices and I want to Thank you.

For goodness sake. Even us with northern European ancestry, must understand that those we descended from ate a predominantly vegetarian diet. Animals were precious, and we're valued greatly. Really it was only the very rich that ate meat regularly and that wasn't daily.

I think it's amazing that there are people who don't appreciate your work, there are many channels on youtube, but I've never seen any that had as much information and presented as you do! The sources are important because on top of everything they certify their work, but clearly their research goes far beyond that, the wisdom is within each and within itself there is an endless! Thank you for bringing us knowledge, I appreciate your work and value. Too much strength and keep going!

In my experience, what you say in your videos can't be fully understood only through the mind but instead is an all-encompassing experience of self in the world. In some cases I think it's understandable that some people would accuse you of presenting unverifiable information etc if they are only understanding your information academically. How you explain the science and interpret the evidence I believe requires more than the mind to understand. My whole life I have experienced the world very differently to my Australian cultural norms. To fit in I actively ignored and tried to change many aspects of myself. When I discovered your videos I could hardly believe what you were saying as you were describing my experience of the world so thoroughly. I suddenly felt validated and encouraged to live authentically, and I continue to be inspired by your videos to grow and develop those special aspects of myself. I am incredibly grateful to you and I hope you don't change how you gather and present your information. There are so many things that simply cannot be grasped through academic means alone. Your interpretation and explanation of the experiences along with the science is perfect. Thank you so very very much Arith!!

Arith, I am working on a project , relating to many of your subjects. I have done much research on on my own from thousands of sources. Most of my own bibliography is visual, auditory as opposed to the many written sources by oppressors of these cultures. To believe these traditionally written sources 'full heartedly' as actual sources is much worse than plagiarism, it is cultural regurgitation. For example among many ,if you trust "Adam of Brenen, " as your source, research first who he was. Your interpretations are excellent, refreshingly non regurgitated. You are using a multitude of sources I can attest to and tell the story in a format that scares traditional researchers. It is something they have not heard yet.

Brilliant!!! Thank you for your original work, research, analysis and insight. I am particularly interested in Animism of the past and present, and strongly agree not every misinterpretation and misinformation of the past needs to be repeated and credited as if they are still authoritative or were the main point before starting every presentation. I welcome bibliography, citations, quotes, and primary materials as a way to enrich our mutual interest and developing understanding especially with regards to Animism. I look forward to further videos and supporting materials highlighting primary sources such as archaeological finds and first-person interview results. Thank you for your tremendous efforts to make this available through videos and posts to the general public.

People, in their ignorance, don't understand and thus lash out in fear at the content of your videos. In my opinion they're just words without any weight. I have disagreed with you strongly at times but that's what adult even beings do, we disagree at times but it does not mean that we should be hateful to one another. Those who accuse you of things are just children in their thinking and maturity. So you're right in disregarding them! On a side note here is a video I found about the Appalachian traditions I grew up with in accordance with the Appalachian folk magical tradition. I hope you watch it and enjoy it. While I don't practice the religion that these traditions use, I've been Heathen now for 35 years but it doesn't change the deep regard and love I have for these traditions! So here you go little brother a touching on Appalachian folk Magic: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKjEhpaJh9iEhrM traditions.

Respecting and honoring the food that you take from the earth, wether it be plant life or animal life is something many have lost sight of as fewer people experience the reality of where food in a store comes from- a byproduct of several sad aspects of modern society rarely If ever the fault of average citizens. Being mindful of where we get our meals the best we can is important to the planet and all it’s inhabitants- while still remaining humble to the fact that many people in poverty or in some cases circumstantial/geographical instances are simply not privileged enough to have those choices and we all can work on our empathy for one another as we travel through life and death and practice giving to help to others which is always possible even if you have nothing material to share, a kind word costs nothing .💕

There is a group of people in India that walk on their tip toes so they won't kill insects . As a teen I saw a documentary in which they took a bird that was mortally wounded back to a hospital they had created where they cared for , fed and prolonged its suffering many times over . Killing and dying are deep mysteries. As a human I am aware that I kill constantly . It's a difficult thing to process . I was surprised to know that the Dali Lama consumes meat in moderation. My gut contains an enormous ecosystem of living others . Taking an antibiotic is a genocidal act . Factory farming is a concentration camp for others . At this point in my life it is my practice to do what I can to be mindful of the destruction I cause to the plants and animals around me and bow to the uncomfortable mystery of existence on this beautiful, terrible world .

well there are a few sources for modern religious manifestations, but i should say, most of these are published by BR!LL - a publisher notorious for being v expensive, and therefor much off the public is gatekept from this research... however! there [libgen] are [.rs] methods [😜]for gaining acces to these important works for increeeeeedibly cheap in this golden age of high speed information sharing. Not that i would know, i have no interest in these works whatsoever 😌 also i love this channel and your videos, i'm only adding these incase there was anyone interested in delving into the topic. i really value your personal insight and the academic research you share, it's clear aloooot of work goes into producing videos of this quality touching on subjects i dont see anyone else talking about very much. your knowledge has had a positive impact on my life and my focus and i'd like to say here how much i earnestly appeciate what you share and how you share it. i think the allegations against you are petty and misleading. love ya bro, serious. x one last thing lol some of these analyse esoterecist movements that arent strictly contemporary but still rather modern, ive included them anyway because fck it why not. that being said....: Contemporary Esotericism edited by EGIL ASPREM & Kennet Granholm (this is a collection of essays by different academics and is probably the best work on the subject) THE PROBLEM OF DISENCHANTMENT by EGIL ASPREM Esoteric Scene, Cultic Milieu & Occult Tarot by Danny L Jorgenson Unholy Alliance | A History of Nazi Involvement with the Occult by Peter Lavenda Dark Enlightenment | The Historical, Sociological, & Discursive Contexts of Contemporary Esoteric Magic by Kennet Granholm Esotericism in African American Religious Experience | There Is a Mystery… edited by Stephen C. Thank you Arith, your seidr reading is ᚫᚠᛟ I'm sure you can interpret using the Norn sequencing. Did you know the analogy what Wojan used ( pronounced wo-zhan, not Odin, Wotan, or any of those false names we use to flag fraudulent seidrs or Nazi %^&%s... ) for Mimir's Well, or Runesight, prior to one's incorporating it into the third-eye hvel was to scry the symbols formed upon looking into the water of the well and allowing the vegvesir [ similar to tetragrammaton ] to identify the patterns in order to form engrams which represented the concepts the runes were mapped to? Supposedly one can construct an authentic copy of the well upon consultation with a caboclo evoked through Umbanda. I am not an Umbandista and I had a terrible experience attempting to invoke Pomba Gíra so I am not going to go near those powerful magicks but apparently this is the story. Also, the two triangle's intersecting is a false emblem of Judaism, that is not True Judaism. I can send a sigil my tzaddikim [ protector deity in Judaism ] gave me to operate the 'tetragrammaton' you can use Hebrew or not it doesn't matter, the sigil is what activates it. Lots of fake Judaists here...
