This is a cover of "Little Black Baby," a song recorded by the People's Temple Choir. On the album "But, What Ends When the Symbols Shatter?" Death In June covered three other songs by the People's Temple Choir ("He's Able," "Something Got Hold of Me," and "Because of Him"), each of them with slight but key lyrical changes that make the songs much darker.

In search of a political view for the future we came across National Bolshevism which is closely connected with the SA hierarchy. @fritzo62 Well, probably no-one will ever know for certain, and it doesn't really matter anyway. I did remember that thing about the German releases, when he explained the meanings of the songs to German officials in order to legalize selling them in Germany but he never bothered taking them to court because of the money I think. I looked up the tabs and everyone has it as Em, G, Em, Bm, Em, A11, Em. But watching this video it doesn't look like He's playing a B minor because it's not barred. Granted I am just learning so I'm probably missing something (which should be damn obvious since I can't even play this song yet) I can play something that sounds close but I'm not sure what the chord is, not only that but if I substitute a D chord for Bm it sounds pretty close and is much easier to play. Any tips appreciated.

@@pinktooth5473 I did. I ended up taking lessons and watching a bunch of tutorial videos. Learned maybe twenty songs. I can do a pretty solid Johnny Cash like "Personal Jesus" I also learned "Kiss me Deadly" by Generation X which is probably the most technical song I can play. I forgot how to play about a half dozen songs. I wrote several dozen songs as well and have forgotten all of them pretty much. I eventually bought a proper acoustic guitar and I play every so often but not as often as I would like.

@@kemicon kudos to the followthrough! Over the years the distance between me and that instrument has grown but I can still run through my old sets reasonably and that's all I was really lookin' for anyways so no real worries, right? These days I have a fondness for synthesizers, however the hell those things work haha. Cheers, boss, and again for real big ups to the follow through. That's more than most will do.

@@pinktooth5473 You had to mention synths.... That is a sad point. I bought a bunch of classic synths and drum machines over the years. Built up a nice little retro midi / CV studio. I have a SCI Pro One, SCI Six Trak, Roland Juno 106, Roland 606, 707, 727, DR 55, Akai MPC 1000, and some of those Roland boutique boxes that came out, like the 909. I had it all set up so you could just push play on the MPC and everything jumped to life. All synched up. No external CPU needed. All of it is sitting in my parents basement at the moment. My girl moved in with me and we needed the space. I miss it a little bit but nobody was listening to my music andI felt it wasn't going anywhere. so I just gave it all up. Some day I'd like to get back into it.

@@kemicon my dude one of the most gratifying things that I've done over the years has been to slowly increase my budget noise machine collection and intermittently upload to a bandcamp page. It's all name your price aka free, mostly just kind of a storage for my ongoing project but every so often someone who is outside of my friends circle checks my stuff out and I'm so happy that someone else can share in what I get out of drone/noise/experimental work. I 100% hear you on the space issue but I'd strongly encourage you to not loose touch with all that stuff, that's a right respectable collection of machines you've got there! The past couple of years have been super duper rough but in a not completely bad way (?) and I stopped fiddling w the knobs for a while and once I got my feet back under me and was able to really get any kind of workable rig set up again I was reconnected with such an enriched feeling, the kind I'm certain you've also felt. Best of luck getting back into it all, man, really hoping that you can sooner or later!

I don't want to put words in his mouth, so I can only speculate as to the meaning. "Lamenting the fall of Eurocentrism" I can certainly see as a possibility, but I don't really know about the second part. Or perhaps there is little meaning, just an odd, creepy rendition of an odd, creepy song. After all, "Leper Lord" has an origin that's not all that deep.
