I am SOOOOO STOKED about frost DKs getting 2h back. I was a BEAST back in the day as a frost dk. :) I can only imagine what the look on the enemy mages face was like when they blinked away and thought they were safe only to see me copy their blink with dark sim, blink next to them, and pop the finishing blow. Although not a big deal anymore, Orc racial also provides pet damage increase by 1%. another benefit if you go Unholy. I havent seen anyone test it yet, but with UH focusing more on pets in SL the dmg might be a little nicer than expected.

Sarn 1% is pretty meh. If pets are 50% of your overall damage then that racials is only 0.5% boost

@@sarneus117 that's not how math works dude. it's 1% overall pet damage. that means each pet has 1% for their own personal damage. not 10% overall damage... You really think that's "10% damage buff for my pets"?? m.a.t.h. if your pets OVERALL are 50% of your damage, then it's a 0.5% total damage buff (1% of 1/2 of your damage is 1/2 of 1%)... it's not a big deal anymore means it might not actually be an advantage, wherein some things, such as arcane torrent dispel, may prove to be more beneficial now.

im currently playing with 2x1h frost with rune of sanguination and the legendary death touch and ive got to say that im having a blast. due to the meta being heavily focused on burst damages, it makes you so tanky its really enjoyable. im really looking forward for the arena season!

So compared to the last season (4 of BFA), do you believe DK overall will have an easier time obtaining Glad and finding groups or harder? I ask because in my journey to get glad with my DK, the main struggle I found was finding groups. TSG wasnt really a thing and everyone only wanted mage/rogues/DH/Locks or WW...maybe a war if its a lock. DK didnt feel weak just unwanted.

what about that leggy that improves ams? It makes ams last longer and heals, and, as unholy dk it lasts up to 20 sec with another ams talent. Unerfed this seems pretty op. I dont see the same with those other 2 dmg leggies, that give just a minor dmg increase?

are you sure its not 100% of the regular 5s AMS? And the talent add 5 more seconds, which would make it a 15s shield? 15 secs is good but 20 seems very good in pvp if thats how it is! And on live servers my shield with the talent absorbs a bit over 42% of my hp as unholy and ilvl 475! So in pvp its def a good legendary against casters, the survivability would be extreme with AMZ, AMS, lichborn+DC heal, IBF, pet sacrifice(25% hp if i remember) and death strike aswell! that is alot for a DD and i guess casters wont focus DK's and rather just cc haha, but thats just thoughts!

It is really good however dk will rarely ever be that target vs casters so you have to be 100% sure they will go you if your gonna play it

@@joshuaanderson3889 well, most dmg is magic dmg, its not just about casters many melees do magic dmg as well, so ams should always be strong. For instance, DH hunter does chaos dmg and ret holy. afaik, ams legendary is the best pvp leg for unholy. As frost you need obliterate legendary, but frost is much better in group pvp.

I don't agree with going Icecap. First off, crit is not as good in pvp and i don't think you would ever stack it enough to give Icecap value, and Icecap has lost all the borrowed power that made it insanely strong. Secondly, the talent Obliteration makes every 2nd global during Pillar be a huuuuuge Obliterate crit guaranteed. Since, it gives a 100% killing machine procc, and the killing machine procc turns Obliterate damage into frost dmg, scaling with the frost DK mastery. Lastly, if you want continued credibility in your otherwise really solid content, please stop collaborating with Cervantes...

For starters, why would you run Runic Attenuation with Gathering Storm when you can run Murderous Efficiency with more rune generation to buff your Remorseless Winter even more? Secondly, Icecap got a severe nerf with the loss of the Azerite traits that made it viable to play to begin with. Obliteration handedly outperforms Icecap. Thirdly, why would you need to run Wraith Walk while playing as a necrolord? You can run Death Pact as a emergency heal and make yourself even more hard to kill. Also, Blind Sleet vs Asphyxiate is kind of preferential. In 3v3 Blind Sleet may have the potential for outplay potential but 2H frost builds focus on heavy single target making Asphyxiate more viable. Its a guaranteed hard stun that isn't deterred by damage. It allows for a burst kill to a single target far more efficiently.
