My eyes were sweating at this ending 😟 no matter WHAT you sayy light sacrifices EVERYTHING for death note and the "better World" for being the god. At the end he says "no one would've got this far with death note to do all this like me!!" And it's true... He went to so much extent, but sadly he became obsessed with it and forgot his beginnings which led to his death...

The philosophy in death note is truly GREAT! no one is ever truly 'evil' Its all up to perception and one's own ideals. L did confine Misa because he refused to believe she wasn't involved. This is one of his flaws when Light and L talk in the rain; He basically says ``I suspected you wouldn't believe me.. no one is the task force does``. This is what makes this show truly great. 😀
