I definitely remember Versus XIII before it was renamed to XV and watching all the trailers from E3 2006 to 2011, you did such a very great job making this video.

This is the reason why they should put someone to keep Nomura in check and give direction to the project , the man has amazing ideas for both gameplay and story but never develops them to their full potential if someone good codirects with him they would make the most legendary game ever

Nice video! Final Fantasy versus XIII always will be fascinating as the game that never was. I think, but I'm not sure 1 of the other problems was the reception of FFXIII, which was also a very divisive title. (but honestly which FF game isn't? )

I will always have this in my mind with kingdom hearts going forward " how would this franchise go if versus 13 did happen" cause it really felt like it was added because nomura wanted his game. I didn't dislike 15 but man the "would you like to buy this to know the full story" really suck

I have a strong feeling that if the development of Fabula Nova Crystallis hadn't gone wrong, the characters from FFXIII, VERSUSXIII and Type-0 would probably be brought together in a single game at some point in the crystallis universe, but as Versus XIII had its development canceled, the Fabula Nova Crystallis universe had of being hastily contained in lighting returns

Honestly that was probably going to becan endgame results, a massive finale title similar to something like cold steel 4 or avengers endgame where its this big climactic conclusion. Shame that is never going to Happen since it crashed as hard as it did

Ah versus 13 our beloved game never came to be quite fascinating tale very unfortunate while 15 was good seeing what happened to versus us sad but interesting legacy of game lives on like tou said through kingdom hearts yozora other ff titles even reynatis and more hopefully ine can dream yozora can be that versus 13 2nd birth but great video

It wasn't an accident that all that Insomnia gameplay became a movie. The PS4 couldn't handle it. It couldn't even handle FF15.

I do feel that a lot of developers have been keeping their cards closer to there chests before showing of games these days! I still remember picking up 15 and waiting for that mission that was showcased when it was revealed as 15 and got real dissapointed it never happened😂 but its mad how well the game turned out with all the mess going on in the background of it!

So the higher-ups kind of self-sabotage versus 13 because verses 13 was well received by audience and critics to like everybody couldn't wait to play that game and instead of giving us that game you gave us two sequels to final fantasy 13 that nobody asks for at all put all that time it up for into final fantasy 13 purposely delayed Kingdom hearts 3 to the point where to see you tomorrow had to walk away from the project and you approved whatever the nonsense that was 15 and 15 wasn't even finished That's the thing 15 ain't even finished to this day diagrams are really a bit at this point he seems like that's the reason why square enix haven't been able to get on for a couple of years because they keep making dumb ideas or to keep these higher-ups keep doing dumb decisions

I don't know who this "Eeeto" is, but if you're referring to Etro, then that's just bad. Might be minor, but it's such a major talking point about Versus XIII's story that getting it wrong is very silly.
