One small correction, Meridius isn't able to move back and forth in time. When carnage attacked his garden to kill all eddies, he was unwillingly sent back to beginning of time in an attempt to escape. This is all in Venom War: Carnage #3

A few things Rob. Meridius didn't travel so far into the past out of his own volition. He was pushed out of the time stream by all the other Eddies. Secondly, Meridius meeting Old Man Dylan is the start of Meridius reproducing Substance K, which is lethal to symbioses and disintegrates symbiote matter (read Venomous to know what that's about) Thirdly, this is more of a conversation point, but I was under the impression that Eddie gave the whole Venom Symbiote to Dylan and took the antivenom Symbiote from Flash to do the psychic wave thing

Lastly, this is my speculation on what's happening based on the story build up so far, but everyone's like "yo, Dylan killed Eddie", but Dylan's Necro sword has never really killed a symbiote. It's mostly just severed symbiotes from the hive mind, so I think he's creating the empty throne in this instant, which then creates an all out brawl between Eddie, Meridius, Carnage and Dylan to take the throne, but also, Kang the Conqueror and Dr Doom are in control of Flexo and Red Goblin, so the Key Players here would be: Old Man Dylan Young Dylan Eddie Brock (the human symbiote) Venom Meridius Carnage Dr Doom Kang the Conqueror Support players appear to be: Toxin Flash Thompson (Anti-Venom) Sleeper Widow (Natasha Romanov) Misery (Liz Allen) New Red Goblin (Normie Osborne) Flexo (potentially merged with Doom to seize the throne)

i’ll be honest… i’m kind of tired of these cable knock off stories. i could live with franklin traveling back through time since he’s a reality warper. dylan i guess i can go with it. but it’s the same tropes over and over and over. it’s cheap tactics to elude to great story telling but it’s the same trick as every other time. a great new threat someone from the future resolves with in the present time. predictable. comic books need to take more of a japanese manga approach and stop following the same types of story arch’s to get around how boring these stories are. tell good stories! the last couple of videos were decent and it sucks that they were only decent because they were released out of order. that’s sad. these comics need to get better with their stories. like i get weapon 1-10. but then we get wolverine kids cuz they’re clones… yeah… beat a dead horse…
