One of my very 1st introductions into the Florida DM band way back when this album came out. My buddy says, "You gotta check THIS out!" Lol...I wasn't into the "crazy vocals" back when, (as I was usually stoned lol.) as the vocals made me laugh my ass off, but... I LOVED the music, NO doubt, being a metal drummer myself , and of course Chuck's SOUND.... Anyways, fast forward into the 96-97 when I started playing drums again, and dove DEEP into ANYTHING/EVERYTHING extreme music wise, I snagged Spiritual Healing and EVERYTHING in the Death catalog, as from the 1ST time I heard it, until now EVEN. Spiritual Healing is my ALL TIME favorite Death album (even loving ALL the Gene Hoglans NO disrespect!) as I think for it's time, it was one of the most brutal and important albums for the REAL DEAL DM Floridan sound. R.I.P. Chuck! Ohhh, and yeah.. EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT cover of a brilliant song! You rule. LOVE the pentagram top there too! 😁 HAILS n HORNS! 🤘
