Death Stranding Figma 516-DX Sam Porter Bridges: Unboxing & Review

Here is my unboxing and review of the sam bridges figma from maxfactory, i apologize for some of the blurry sections. I preordered this figure back on halloween of last year but due to the delays they were able to finally release the figure just now.

Correction: the armor pieces on the right are for the arms lol. I had to look ingame to double check and i got it backwards.

Man this looks like an S.H Figuarts level of quality. Its certainly not the usual terrible live action figures Figma make.

This figure looks awesome, I'm eagerly awaiting my regular and dx ones. I was curious about whether those cargo carrier/armor plate things on the shoulders came off so it's good to know I can display my regular one without them

Bought mine over half a year ago for £120. We here in the uk get stuff so late so mine will probably turn up in about a month or so but it is nice to see that its good for the wait

Thank you. They taped the stickers to the back of the inner box cardboard piece. they should be included on both the normal version and this dx version.

The bike is sold separately by Kotobukiya, it is a model kit that needs to be assembled

Didn't get my sticker sheet either!!! Not in the plastic with Sam and the bits and pieces. Not in the box.

I paid $98.33 for for it, the shipping cost me $27.85 via DHL, so the full total was $126.18 I had it preordered on solaris japan since halloween of last year, it was delayed three times until its release recently.

Hey question for you! Does the Ordadek head piece insert where the joint meets the longer piece that connects with the back? Or is it all one solid piece? I think my son broke mine but I’m not sure if it’s just that it detaches easily into two pieces. This would help me a lot!

Hi i believe the the Ordradek is one solid piece, the head piece specifically doesnt have any articulation and insert point from what i saw. Ive seen images where others have accidently broken it or it came broken out of the box. The instruction manual doesnt mention that its kind of fragile, so ide recommend using some loc-tite super glue to glue it back together.

@@EpicBlargman Thanks for the response. I got some really good 3M super glue (as good as Loctite, thanks for that recommendation) and managed to fix it. My son knocked the figure over and it must have landed on the Odradek. The way it broke off made it look as though there was an insertion point for the head piece (where the horizontal piece meets the vertical stand that has the ball joint). It was actually pretty easy to glue back together and looks just as good as it did when I first unboxed it. Thanks again for the help!
