This game's music is in my opinion a huge part of why this game is so special to so many of us. I will try my best to imagine the music in my head when you arrive at said moments. This has a great soundtrack. I enjoyed this game so much. Its a very unique game. You have to appreciate when a studio takes chances on a game like this.

i had no intent of playing this game ever. but it was free 1.5-2 years ago, and i got it and spent a year just having absolute, insane amounts, of fun. one of the best times ive had in a game i look back on that time fondly. up there with viewtiful joe and elden ring and sekiro.

I've tried to play this game two or three times and I don't think I've ever got past what seems like tutorial mode even though I played for hours and hours and nothing grabbed me about the gameplay, etc. I finally just deleted it off my system.

Loved playing this game right at start of covid here in UK, felt extra special because of that at the time. Played it through twice since too. One of my favourite games... Please stick at it Cowboy.

Took me nearly 2 years to 100%, but it was worth it. Walking simulator for the first half of it (and delivery simulator), but once the story starts to develop, you instantly get hooked. Grind alone the initial portion, it is worth it. From a Souls and FPS lover, this is among my top 10 all time games.

Even as a walking sim Death Stranding is the absolute weird that takes up space in my noggin and still pops up from time to time even though I have never played this game and only watched a few clips of it when it came out originally 😂😂😂

I've clocked in 30k hours in WoW, and my 2nd most played game of all time is Death Stranding, coming in at ~1.8k hours. Despite owning a large library of games on Steam, no other game has come remotely close to my playtime with Death Stranding. It just oozies _vibe_ and tranquility. Certainly one of my top 3 gaming experiences of all time, alongside Vanilla WoW and DS2 Iron Bridge PvP...which is how I discovered Cowboy :) If I had to guess, I don't think FC will enjoy Death Stranding as a whole, either. I entirely understand why it's off-putting to others. It fits perfectly into the classic trope of "you either love it or hate it" IMO. Personally, it was an incredibly unique game that came out during a particularly unique time in our lives, and I fondly remember listening to hundreds of podcasts and audiobooks while delivering pizzas across the United Cities of America.

Jyst picked back up and trying to beat that demon of hatred and final boss 😭 probably some of the hardest bosses in gaming history Was gonna start my 4th play through of this game but idk. I've got nioh 2, rise of ronnin and original ff7 in rotation now

Man, it sucks YT cant handle licenced music. The moments where the music kicks in are so good in this game. They're infrequent but really impactful. I have the attention span of a gnat, so DS took me FOREVER to finish. I think it took me a year to finish it, but it's one of the best gaming experiences i've ever had. Kojima is a genius for making basic traversal feel so satisfying.

Death stranding is by far the game that surprised me the most. I went to it with no expectation because the gameplay didn't seem that good. But boy oh boy it hooked me into it and it surprised the hell out of me! I couldn't wait to get home to play it.. It has a slow start but after that is a hell of an experience

I had to a couple of aborted tries with the Death Stranding as it doesn't make it easy to love the game early on and on the surface appears pretty dull and samey. Once you're hooked though, wow, what a game! 49 year old, gamer most of my life, this is a unique and amazing gaming experience that really connected with me and is so cathartic. Death Stranding is for sure in my top 10 all time best gaming experiences. Batsh1t crazy... yeah sure.... rambling and frequently incoherent most definately... but, there are so many unique moments that caused the hairs on my arms to stand on end and showed me that games don't have to follow the same old tired formulas that so many AAA games play safe with these days.

This is phenomenal, I played at launch and haven't picked it up again until a couple weeks ago. Just barely got through 100% on the director's cut when this dropped. I love it but am way nervous about the sequel. Have fun!

I love watching Cowboy play all kinds of games, but if there’s one funny thing you can always count on is this dude does not like to look to his right while exploring. Almost got stuck on the beginning of the game then he missed a package that was clearly labeled on the right side of his screen towards the city haha.

Top game. Starts slow, but picks up and my god it's got some of those typical Hideo moments of just "what the fuck am I doing?!" Loved it. The sound track is busted too. BMTH Ludoes is cracked. Some of the best landscapes I've seen in a game too. It's gorgeous. not sure how far in you are, but I believe there is an option for copy write stuff, but you gotta unlock an ingame item or something like that. Been a year or two since I played it.
