Death - Symbolic Album (All solos guitar cover)

I've always loved Death's riffs but there's something very captivating and magical in the lead guitar work. Especially on albums like Symbolic. So here ya go, here's my passion project from the last month or so! All 16 solos from Death's 1995 masterpiece Symbolic in one lenghty video!
I removed all the original guitars with Demucs music separation tool and re-recorded them (including the rhythm guitars also). So everything you hear guitarwise is me.
I modified and used deviantart user Thehumandeath's extended picture of the album cover art in the video intro. Original cover art by René Miville.

@@robotstonka7118 I played everything through a Kemper profile which I made from Marshall Valvestate 8200 + Mesa oversized 4x12 cab miked with 2 x Shure SM-57's. I added some effects in the mix, mainly chorus, flanger, delay and reverb. The black and green guitars have Dimarzio X2N in the bridge and the blue one has Dimarzio Super Distortion.

It's flanger! I also used automation to add even more flanger in the few fast parts (starting at 0:25 and 0:36).

Ahhh. So much love to Death here. You just mailed the sounds and even Bobby's technique!!! How you can find Koelble's solos? It's so weird and beautiful... Quintessential of jazz and death metal. What is the signal chain? Tubescreamer to jcm800? PS i was amazed how you played some of these Bobby's solos on 24 fret guitar. He originally used 29 frets Kramer I believe...

Thank you so much! I learned Bobby's solos by ear and by watching him play those solos (There's a video on youtube, I'm sure you've seen it already). I used Kemper so that's my signal chain. Originally the Kemper profile was made with Tubescreamer + Marshall Valvestate 8200 👍🏻 Yes, Bobby had 29 fret Washburn EC29. I only have 24 fret guitars so in Zero Tolerance I play the lower harmony in the video. I of course also added the higher harmony (not shown in the video) but it's played in E-tuning. So I could basically get to "26th fret" but I still had to use tuning software for the highest note. I tried bending it, but it was just too much :D Bobby's Perennial Quest solo goes to 26th fret at highest so I played that solo in E-tuning.

How'd I miss this? So sick man! I used to be able to play most of this album (riffs/melodies), but Bobbys solos I always noped out of! Chucks can be tough too when he seems to hit 32nd notes. Inspires me to learn the songs better. I have a BCR Stealth Chuck Tribute as well 🤘

Chuck always improvised when he played leads live I think. Kept the general melodic ideas but he would often change up the details
