Even so, a good artist uses the references as flavoring for a badass song like Shwabidi does, rather than just roleplay and only make anime references. Music like this is clearly anime inspired, but if you played it for a rando they’d appreciate the musicality, while anime fans get that extra layer. It’s just the cherry on top of a sick ass song
