I spent about an hour in Death Valley looking for the Greenwater Ghost Town, and never found it. Ended up running out of time as we were chasing sunlight and had too many other sites to see before dark. I would’ve loved to spend a lot more time searching for the town; we were in the middle of nowhere with no one else around, and really needed another jeep with us for safety reasons before going too deep in the Death Valley back country… Thanks for posting this video, I didn’t know the history of why those towns were there, only that the Death Valley maps show “ghost towns” at vague locations.

I've been once. If I hadn't been with someone who knew the backcountry I would've missed it. That was back in 1993. There was some old wood and some gas cans and that was about it.
