James's Disincarnate guitar work was some of the best stuff ever in death metal.

I agree with you. He brought a new dimension to the solos on Spiritual Healing.

Chuck and James solos went really well together. Spiritual Healing is my favorite Death album. Unfortunately Chuck kicked James out of the band after the first 1990 north american spiritual healing tour, because they weren't getting along. Chuck lost the rest of the lineup shortly after that because he refused to go to Europe.

I like James Murphy's better because it's more fluid and melodic.

Great, great job here. Seeing the solos visually shows Chuck and James' stylistic differences in a new way and also how they worked so well together

You are right. All these covers you can find on KZbin may be regarded by some as a copy or a teenager's attempt to reach his idols but I think it gives fans a visual perspective or even an insight into a work of art we can no longer see played by its creators in real life.

James Murphy = melodic Chuck Schuldiner = Middle Eastern But both geniuses!

Your comment summed it up nicely. I would only add James is a bit more fluid than Chuck.

I usually prefer James' leads, but Chuck's solo here is perfect, incredibly emotional.

Chuck had to up the ante after James' feat. And he nailed it.

I really loved James' playing. I bought every record he was on including Cancer - Death Shall Rise.

It is really cool bro. Keep up the good work. I really liked your playing. Also, in the second solo at the end, it is almost the same but not quite the same as what Chuck played though, especially from 1.41 to 1.47 and 1.58 to 2.02. it sounds like a little different from the original.

The only guitar duo that can match Chuck Schuldiner x James Murphy guitar duos would be Dave Mustaine x Chris Poland duo.
@floa7622 күн бұрын
Sorry to disagree with your Chris Poland choice of a sidekick axeman to Dave's soloing. I would definitely go for Marty Friedman. Back to the Rust in Peace era. Cheers!

Los dos guitarristas suenan geniales son melódicos y suenan super pesados y filosos como una navaja es lo que no tienen los grandes guitarristas más famosos suenan más poperos pero también me gustan no me imagino a yngwie o al fallecido Eddie en una banda death metal
