These are some great tips. Whenever I want to play a “deathcore” chord, my go to is (while in drop tuning), the old reliable “first finger on the first fret of the low b, while chugging the open f# and high b at the same time”. Instant deathcore 😄😎 (just got to the part where you confirmed this haha). Great work on the vocal techniques as well. I could definitely hear the “shifted tongue placement” moments. Nice stuff man 🤓.

Awesome vocals you got there! 1:35 to the hellfire sounds massive to me because the whole ambience during the start of the song almost sounds theatrical and later the orchestra/choir kicks in. Another good example would be Chelsea Grin - Origin of Sin or even The Isnis. There's always something in the background that fattens it up.

@@resington I'm going threw the amp stuff ,the Eq is next. those Vtaramps are nice so is the Nalex stuff. What ir do you think I should use from ya pack? Drop c moden metal ,metal core . I like lower bass/mids,higher highs so a bright tone, I got York audio dv-77 the 2x12 V30;, n bunch of other stuff .i want a good clean ir, I'll worry about the low end I'll switch off a ir fast if the low end is too much. And a fizzy high end is gross. U been helping me ty ty .. it's all new battle .

@@resington ok ty, my 1st test I did 120/7k. I used one of the Vtaramps . Noise gate, TS,the pulse ir loader. I think it was a York audio V30 ,2x12 ,57 I think . I'm trying ,working with older hard wear. I got a beheringer umc 22 interface .
