Nowadays if you ain't got a phone screen for a face they don't know wtf to do. Kids now are so warped by looking at a phone every 3 seconds they don't understand that it's a sign of respect and confidence in yourself. You learn alot about a man by looking him dead in his eyes when you're talking. Good, bad, lying, honesty, confidence. I'm 4th generation military veteran and the first/best advice my father gave me was look a man in his eye when you're talking to him and always give a firm handshake. First impressions are judged by things like that and I guarantee Mac would say he appreciates people looking at him when they talk to him.

I am extremely thankful to my parents because they taught me respect from toddlerhood on up... I am an Army Brat, my dad was a sergeant in the Army, who spent 2 tours in Vietnam. He taught/raised/trained us basically the way he did with the folks he was in vharge of and responsible for. My mom followed dad's lead with my brother and I! ... it is truly horrible that parents do not take the time or put in the effort to teach their children to be respectful, not only respectful of people, but also folks space, belongings. Many parents for whatever reason do not teach their children these and other extremely important life lessons so they are able to function properly in society when they become an adult! .. Then those who wasn't taught as a child, have to learn it most the time the hard way, like on the streets or they learn when they go to prison. It was so much better when parents actually parented their children from a very early age .. ya know before the government put their nose in families business!!
