@@BerkKayhan Well to be totally accurate, it's more like a blend of the two. The game takes place in the 60s, but Blackreef was occupied in the 30s/40s and the modern version was built on top of it. So you have a sort of crossing of the styles, but there are absolutely still many 40s influences even if the 60s are more literal.

It's a shame cause figuring out the loop is so much fun! End game content is pretty lacking (you can spend some time hunting as Julianna which is a blast but with only 4 maps with 4 variations each that'll only hold another 6-8 hours max). I wonder if the devs ever considered doing a randomizer mode where you take out the story bits and have each loop randomize location of each target.

Here: Apply multiplayer slab + trinkets such as 'Nexus something' and personal trinket 'healing grenade one' and have your friend or family member join as Juliana as an allie. Then duke it out to kill the entire NPC group together. It's so much fun omg. My wife just got the game and she's going to play it for months with me and we're going to try everything with Cole & Juliana together. This was intended by the game creators as a 'figure it out yourself' thing. Man I love this game.

It's like average gamers brain overheats when the game requires anything more than a simple "go from A to B" with markers taking half of the screen and occasional button mashing.

@@SwordWieldingDuck It's weird cause at one point I love the narrative focus of beating the loop, but there is way too much hand holding in the opening hours. I don't mind the way this game breaks up objective markers cause it gives the narrative much needed structure. I would love if they implemented a randomizer mode like in PC Resi Evil where the story is not included, but the locations and actions of each target vary in each loop. Add some variety. Cause the main campaign will take roughly 12-16 hours for completionists, and about 6-8 with the MP.
