Having a broken heart because someone isn’t willing to accept you for who you are is one of the worst feelings in the world. I’m disabled and it was really hard for me growing up. I even thought about suicide but I made a choice that I was never gonna give up. Ive been married for over 20 years now with my beautiful wife and I couldn’t be happier. Looking back, I would like to thank my ex’s for dumping me all those years ago. If it wasn’t for them, I would have never met my wife. My advice for anyone going through this is to never give up. There is someone for everyone.

This song reminds me of my brother in law who is intellectually slower. He was a completely changed man when his ex wife married him. He became so gentle. However, she did not have the patience or heart to guide him. Instead, she verbally & physically abused him. Eventually, she admitted to her family that she was cheating and was going to run away before my mother in law stopped her. Her plan fm the beginning was to get away fm her previous family but she underestimated the pressures & expectations of being a good daughter in law. They finally separated after 1 year. However, during that short time period, I saw the good in him. He changed for love but did not receive love in return.

great song. story of my life, growing up with a disability it was hard to find someone to love me for me. finding someone who could see beyond the disability and love the me within. it was sad to see one man after another marry someone else because they were able bodied women. I am now married with someone who never made my disability an issue and always encouraged me to do things. heartfelt song for sure. thanks for another good song.

As someone who struggle with fertility I’m afraid of my husband leaving me for someone else, someone who would give him a son of his own. I feel like it’s my fault I cannot give him a son he always wanted like everyone else.

Wow! Beautiful song, beautiful video! I usually don't get emotional when I listen to music. I was driving my children to school this morning and this came up as a suggested. I played it and about halfway through I noticed I couldn't really see I didn't realize I was getting emotional not listening to it, having recently gone through heartbreak the song hits deep, first song ever got emotional too.
