sweet lord, i have trouble playing on level 2 sometimes, i can't imagine trying 999! it's awesome to see someone doing so well at it! and with precious babby casper too!

You have to do all beginning 6 stages in lvl999. You can die all you want, but you cannot continue. Then, you'll activate Ice Palace lvl999, Canyon lvl999, Castle lvl999. You must select Ice Palace first, then Canyon, then castle. You must NOT DIE all three stages. Defeat Jitterbug and DO NOT DIE (1/2 damage is ok). You'll activate bloody jitterbug. Kill Tyrannosatan (you can die during this boss, but still need 1cc) and bloody jitterbug will appear.

@@TyjetPoison For example, in DANGUN FEVERON, to reach Admiral Gratze you must clear all levels without dying once. (Which means you cannot lose a single life) Bombing doesn't affect the requirement.

I once owned the physical game disc bearing this title (Deathsmiles), and for the life of me, I was never able to figure out how to "power up" the character I was using. Is that how you got your score that high? I mean no disrespect intended.

To power up the character, you have to press A+B at the same time. Being in power-up is key in getting a high score.
