I don't know if I've mentioned this here before, though I probably have considering the amazing content your guys all produce, but haunting music is definitely among my favorite kinds. There's just something special about the chills that creep, the whispers of the perverse and the decrepit, and the unsettling discomfort of a horrifying image being implanted in your head. While I usually only find myself in the mood for some proper haunting occasionally, it is always a pretty emotional ride; full of nasty thoughts and disturbing feelings that really set the mood. This song really satisfies that craving I get on occasion, and it does so with skillful ease. I love the broken feel, like something ripped straight out of a 2008 creepypasta about Slenderman or something. Just that stuttering, twitchy feel of the drop, and that stalking melody bobbing in and out of focus, like a blur in the midnight woods; watching, waiting, and most definitely targeting you. This is something that I'd listen to while stewing in my room, thoughts asunder with grim and grotesque imagery of hell, and I have a masterful producer to thank for it. However, my one complaint, and it is a minor one at that, is that the vocal chops, while they absolutely add to the creepiness factor and add their own touch of madness to the mix, do pull me out of my vibe just a bit. This is something that would go wonderfully if I'm just browsing ancient manuscripts from the equally ancient Slender fanbase from forums best left forgotten. But I think that my own little darkness is craving the instrumental version just a bit more; it just has this beautiful combination of haunting and melodic that I'd love to hear for a few hours.

This song definitely changed my view on Deathstep. The beat is well timed, and the wobbles hit different. Exiled makes other great tracks, but I think this one is my favorite.
