What brushes are you using and how do you keep the lines so thin? I guess a lot is just practice and experience. When I do the Wild rider red step on the guns it just makes the whole thing look like its from Tron.

I believe the brushes should be listed, or Justin says what brush he uses (potentially once at the beginning of the highlight step). 'eavy Metal is a process that sometimes takes trust in the process, the edge highlights can look a little 'Tronesc', that's where multiple highlights help with the transition, not jumping to an extreme edge highlight

What kind of holders are you using for the pieces? I’m a noob just starting and I like that way of work holding

I switch between a model holder from Games Workshop and my patented BFG model holder, that is essentially a paint pot with blu tac on it, which works with a lot of stuff for me. ~ BFG_Justin
