I grew up on this music and what huge surprise i had one day at work: i trained a new guy who’s last name is DeBarge.. i jokingly said “oh are you by any chance related to anyone from El Debarge?” and he modestly says “yeah i am. all of them. Tommy DeBarge was my dad” i was blown away!!! i work with the son of a major celebrity of the 80s! of course it revamped my love for this song, group and genre. Long live El DeBarge!

Graydon's one of the best and is careful to fit the songs into the DeBarge style. El produce some of the songs on this album, but had creative influence on all of the songs.
