The problem with Jake and KSI is that they have had these confidence fights against influencers and MMA guys, and they completely neglected defence. I said it when Jake fought Tommy, what happens when Tommy slips your shots and starts landing combinations on you? The minute that happens, they'll revert to type. Jake just started swining the overhand right, hoping one lands. KSI can try and move and jab all he wants, when he gets tagged he'll start swinging too. They're not experienced boxers who can stick to a game plan.

Having bad footwork, no judgment of distance and wild punches isnt an unorthodox style. The winging overhang he caught Fournier with will get him countered. Problem with Tommy is that hes pretty easy to hit for a pro boxer. He does seem to have a fairly good chin though, so I really doubt KSI is gonna knock him out unless he catches Tommy with an overhand right from a blind spot. Most people seem to think KSI will have to KO him in the first couple of rounds to win, but I actually think if he does KO Tommy itll be in round 5 or 6. Still, ill take Tommy Fury winning at least 8/10 times.

Just a little breakdown of a fundamental aspect of JJ's style and why Tommy will win because of it: Traditional Boxers usually stay right on the cusp of their opponent's range and take small steps to get in range to land their punches. Because of how small of a distance a fighter has to travel to hit their opponent, it makes it harder for the opponent to time their attack and counter them. JJ's "karate" style ditches this concept and instead he relies on being WAYYY outside of his opponent's range. Because of the large amount of distance he travels to land his punches, Joe was able to time him and land clean hits. If old, slow Joe Fournier is able to easily time JJ with jabs and right-hands in the 2nd round of their fight, then a fast-twitch Tommy Fury will easily jab JJ's head off by throwing stiff jabs as JJ lunges into range. I still struggle to understand how JJ's delusional fans think his karate style will do him any good against Tommy Fury, let alone any decent professional Boxer. The dude's 12 year old fanbase will be in tears after Tommy Fury wins an easy unanimous decision.

I can already tell there’s gonna be a bunch of short sighted people on here commenting ‘Tommy fury’s gonna knock ksi out round one!’ All cos he’s brother of Tyson. I’m just annoyed when people say that cos it just won’t happen. He hasn’t got the capacity to knock guys out really. If he couldn’t knock out a fellow KZbinr in jake then how’s he knocking out ksi? He can’t even knock out KZbinrs. The only guy he’s knocked out he hit with five or six punches to knock him out and then a few seconds later he got up again. The rest were just stopped or dropped to their knee

Jj looses round 2 and he looses bad , and i like jj but i am sorry he is not a good boxer , he is not fun to watch and he isn't even good for an outboxer. His movements whether karate or not is predictable and i don't think he has much of a chin considering he wobbled against logan. I want him to loose as well because without loosing he won't learn. the guy in the black nike hat is just absolutely wrong when he says ksi is "playing boxing" and that he hasnt dedicated himself to boxing to catch up when 1) id argue hes proven that wrong when he fought logan in pro, got knocked down by illegal shots and still won the fight and 2) shootfighters gym aint gonna go easy on jj and let him "play" boxing. alexis has even said that they have given/and are giving jj the experience in sparring and the ring that he needs to "catch up" [source: FredTalksFighting] 3) JJ was training hard till the logan 2 fight, and then trained in the background for 2/3 years and has gone through 3 fight camps.

I don’t think you understood what he meant by “playing boxing”, he meant he’s not doing boxing for the pure reason he wants to excel in it and has a goal of becoming world champion, he’s doing it solely for the influence scene and to have his fight with Jake, hence KSI words “I’ve come back to this for Jake and the reason I began misfits was for Influencer boxing to still thrive when I retire” where as Jake, as delusional as he is in wanting to become world champion, after the gib fight, he moved on to different opponents based of his own decision, and at the time there wasn’t no misfits nothing, he did it because he wanted to and now levelled up to the point he’s fighting the likes of Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz ext. Jake tried to make the tommy fight happen all the way back in 2021 when KSI was still pursuing music and taking his time to get back into boxing. KSI thinks Jake needs him when Jake has paved his way In boxing in a way which he won’t ever need to rely on KZbinrs or the influencer scene (misfits). Only way Jake will ever need KSI is if KSI beats tommy.
