And before you say he better defensively he never even made an all defensive team once with all that size. Steph torching him on the court. And Bird never played anyone with KD size and skill. Even the late great Kobe said KD was the only player he never figured out before he retired. And I believe that Jordan is the GOAT still. i remember when stars used to stay at the team they drafted for a little bit then left 10 years later, not immediately get poached by big market teams after year 3-4. it’s how teams like the pistons wizards and blazers will never win a championship in the next decade. LeBron and Steph better not happen or i’ll won’t watch just like when KD joined GS, that was borderline cheat code of an all star team. GS is why the CBA has changed dramatically

Let's not be ridiculous. Original Dream team could sit MJ, Bird and Magic and still beat this crap team by 30 Stockton, Malone, Pippen, Drexler, Barkley or if we wanna go big, sit Clyde or Pippen and put Ewing or Robinson in. Steph is great, but the rest of them not so much, and some are just trash. KD and LeBron scared to take a shot in those last 2 games until Jokic got 4 fouls could not be agressive, then KD shot once. LeBron shat his pants in 4th quarters and was throwing passes out of bounds, how much he was shaking. Yabusele says hello by the way.

Two things in this debate we always overlook. 1. There were nearly as many international or young players to provide tougher competition when Bird and MJ were in the league. 2. There was no social media where players could watch and study the players to draft a game plan when MJ and Bird were in the league. If MJ was around social media. Think how his game and mental health would have been exploited. Bron and KD any time!

What's crazy is that Jordan couldn't beat Magic or Bird. He had to wait until they were old and out of the league and the NBA was watered down and expanding to dominate. People are starting to say that Steph is the greatest point guard of all time, KD is greater than Larry Bird or at least gives him a run for his money. On top of that, they had to team together in their prime, literally two MVPs at the peak of their powers to beat LeBron. Just imagine if magic and bird were on the same team in their primes during Jordan's Prime. Something tells me if Jordan had to face two MVPs that teamed together he wouldn't have six rings. No one wants to talk about this though. They just ignore the vacuum of talent that was created after Bird and Magic retired and how the league was wide open for Jordan's taking.

Why are we talking about championships? I hate that people act like basketball is an individual sport. A single player can’t dominate the way they could in the past because the average player is way better than they were in the past. This will continue to happen as the game evolves, but it will happen more slowly. It happens in all sports.
