Marie Ryder sorry to hear about your mom. I'm going through the same thing I lost my mom at 15 that was 19 years ago and I'm 34 now with a 14 year old. There was so much I had to learn on my own I still can't get over it no matter how long it's been you never forget I still cry myself. I just want to say God bless you and stay strong.

I got to meet Phylicia Rashad when I was a kid after she spoke at a graduation here in Atlanta. She saw me and told me to come here. I was so shy then. She grabbed my face and told me how cute I was and when security tried to whisk her away she grabbed my hand and took me with her to her limo. I didn't want to leave her. She was such a nice lady. She signed my program and kissed me goodbye. I was never the same. I had the biggest crush on her after that. I blush still thinking about it.
