I was born in 1978, so I was still young when this came out, but they played this at the skating rink and it had everybody on the floor. Debbie Deb is will always be a great jam.

Bro l'm not trying to be mean or anything but when you say: "this song was fantastic by the 80s" it would mean that some time in the 70s it got recorded and by the 80s it became famous. You know that's not the case since it got recorded in the 80s and it was an instant hit. You should say: this song was fantastic IN the 80s, or during the 80s.
