I was in hospital for another complaint. They asked me hundreds of questions every hour. Days later on my release I realised something was different, very loose. Contacted my Dr and within a week I was undergoing an endoscopy. What I saw frightened me 50 growths up to 42 mm. The surgeon thought it was cancer. He had blood tests undertaken looking for it. 10 days later I was having surgery. They removed 80% of my colon a length of small bowel and all lymph nodes. They was al Adenoma growths the type that causes 90% of all colon cancers but mine was still benign. I have endoscopies twice a year and each time there are new ones. I now have an inoperable Adenoma growth growing from my colon into my small intestine. The staples can be seen through it. It’s now a game of watch and wait. Open surgery could damage my pelvic nerves causing a loss of bladder control and possibly becoming sexually dysfunctional. PLEASE, IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS, BLOOD OR A CHANGE IN HABITS, EVEN PA IN SEE YOUR DOCTOR STRAIGHT AWAY. THEY GROW AND TURN CANCEROUS SO SILENTLY!
