Love this so much, every single performance of Deborah Kerr’s is award winning. What an unforgettable, iconic and legendary screen actress. Her eyes alone are incredibly expressive and can convey what words don’t. 😍🥰🥰👑💎🏆🙌🏻👏🏻⚜️🤩🌟✨

Loved this dramatic video full of anguish, anger and seeing the great emotions expressed so supremely by the beautiful Deborah Kerr

Thank you. I think that's Deborah's strong point, to bring all the emotions of her characters to the surface, but in a subtle way.

Yes, I have just watch d most of her movies now .I liked The Journey particularly well . Great pairing with Yul Brynner

I'm glad about that. The Journey was my first DK movie, that made me fall in love with her, some 25 years ago. I was amazed how she made her character, a lady, so exciting and seductive and her delicacy worked wonderfully well with Yul's macho force.

As a matter of fact, I DID! I had to order it from a guy in England and the crazy thing will only play on my computer, but it doesn't matter because I got it. It's a quiet little film with lots of action and little conversation. The lovely Miss Kerr comes across as quite difficult in this film, but, as usual, does a lovely job.

It's from the movie "Beloved Infidel" which is beautifully filmed. She looked absolutely stunning in it as well.

If I recall correctly, she was going through a divorce and her husband had taken her girls away from her and made them wards of England at the time. It was a horrible time for her, but, as usual, she was a trouper when it came to her work.

It is illegal to burn it to DVD. I can't think of any other way of you getting this film right now unless you pay the $10 to Amazon.com and downloading it to your computer or Kindle Fire if you have one.

I downloaded it to my Kindle Fire and have watched it a couple of times. I actually enjoyed it. I think that you would also. However, DO NOT order the DVD from Amazon as the ones that they have available do not play in machines sold in the US or Canada. As a librarian, I borrowed it on VHS via interlibrary loan before purchasing it, so I knew that I wanted it when I purchased it. I do realize that a lot of people don't own those anymore. I even found "Penn of PA" on VHS. That was a coup!

Shit... I have no Kindle, and my computer sucks. Well I guess illegal is the way to go haha Nothing shall keep me from my Deborah !! ;)

Is it worth it to buy from Amazon? I've found most of Deb's movies on there but i've always been nervous to buy them because I might hate them :/

We have a library here and i've watched a ton of classic movies through there but there data base is pathetically small!! and I like having my movies on DVD. .. . Any other ideas? I mean is it legal to burn them onto Dvd's?

Love this!! But I cannot for the life of me figure out where the clip at 0.59 comes from.... put me out of my misery please? THANK YOU!!

Thank you. It's from The Arrangement.

Irene Xandra THANK YOU. I kind of figured but had to make sure. I must admit it is my least favorite movie of hers - It is a thankless part and uncomfortable to watch her be treated so badly. I saw it once and never again!

It's not one of my favourites either and I probably never re-watch it its entirety, only Deborah's scenes. First of all, it's a strange film (as many in the late sixties started to be) and obviously the story of a man preferring Faye Dunaway over Deborah can never awake any empathy in me. But I think Deborah was good in the genre of domestic dramas, in roles of suffering, conflicted women, struggling with their feelings, so for me it's a pity this wasn't a better movie. I could watch her in such roles just for the pleasure of her fine, nuanced acting, even if her characters have an unpleasant outcome. Too bad in the late 60s she wasn't proposed better roles and the interest shifted towards younger actresses, even untalented ones. To me, a middle-aged Deborah is infinitely a more exciting woman than all the models-turned-actresses of the time.
