Love, "he's gonna get hit in the head because of your pitiful roping". Not one to mince words. Love Pat and the way he explains things - just basic stuff.

Mr. Puckett. I stumbled across your KZbin channel about six months ago. I'm a meticulous sort of person. I have watched every one of your videos over the last several months. You have just a few years on me, but I have been doing what you do my entire life. The only difference between me and you, is you do it a whole lot better. It is a pleasure watching someone who is actually a Horseman, and knows what they are doing. I've heard you mention 'The Northern Range', and I know that we know some of the same people in common. In this current video, you mention going to PA. and doing an Amish Clinic, and respecting their traditions and customs. Where I currently ranch, there are large Amish and Mennonite Communities. I trade with them, buy hay from some others in their Community. Once they welcome you inside their circle, they are good folks. They are good horsemen, and good stockmen. The Mennonite's remind me of the Hutterite Colony in Roundup, MT. Interestingly enough, where I currently ranch, nobody "Goes to the Neighbors" anymore. Worse yet, you can't get help. I use Amish and Mennonites when I work cattle and sheep. They aren't cowboys, but are decent enough stockmen. I'm honored to have been able to watch your video's. I'll pay you the highest compliment guys like us can give one another................"Bueno Vaquero".

It is always a good day when it begins with a ride and ends with a video from you.Thanks Pat and Deb for the update . Today my little sorrel buddy went all the way around the log circle in both directions and even one handed at the finish. So grateful for your lessons and having new goals to work on. Life is good here in Nova Scotia. Take care.

AMAZING HORSEMAN! I am so fortunate to find your channel, I adore horses. Growing up on a dairy farm in upstate New York by the Canadian border, my brother bought his first horse Queen who bucked me off. Then into Shetlands who were wild as wild can be. Thank you for your wonderful channel!! Absolutely LOVE the trivia and education you share with us!

“Vacher” means vaquero in French or in Cajun. Sometimes “bouvier” can be said for herdsman. In france there is good cattle dogs from a breed called “bouvier”. Good video. We enjoy Chinaco’s journey to the bridle horse ❤️

We love your videos, and watch every minute of everyone. Great content that you can’t find anywhere else. We have a KZbin channel as well discussing roping, horsemanship etc. I was wondering what lapel mic you use. We have been experiencing some issues with the one we are using now. Thanks again for all of your great videos and priceless knowledge!

I shoot all of our video content on an iPhone 13 Pro Max so I’ve been using a Movo Edge Duo. They have decent sound quality, they run on batteries which are easily switched out when they run low, both Pat and I can be mic-ed, and the receiver is lightweight enough that it doesn’t interfere with my gimbal. Also, the price is really reasonable at $200… www.amazon.com/Movo-Edge-Wireless-Lavalier-iPhone/dp/B08D1XY9TS

Pat I have a 3 month old filly I’m tryin to get used to the flag but she keeps tryin to run me over when I even pick up the flag, how do I correct this?
@PatnDebPuckett2 жыл бұрын
Get bigger than the filly. Don’t be timid. Don’t be afraid of hurting her or scaring her. Get the flag busy. Get the flag in her eye. Don’t give ground. If she’s truly aggressive, get two flags and turn into a Tasmanian Devil if necessary. Bottom line is if you don’t take over, she will continue to do so. Do whatever it takes to change her mind.
@PatnDebPuckett2 жыл бұрын
I just re-read your question…why are you working a 3 month old filly? We don’t begin formal training until the day AFTER weaning. Until that day, it’s the mare’s job to teach the filly what she needs to know.
@scarletttruesdale77342 жыл бұрын
@@PatnDebPuckett thank you for answering me Mr. Puckett, I truly appreciate it. I’ll take your advice and use it! She’s race bred so she can get aggressive and try n take over sometimes, she’s already 13 hands 😅
