Debug AngularCLI projects in VSCode with simple F5

Thank You for this video tutorial. I was wondering why does it not allow me to set a break point on any lines of code and when I press F5 it asks me to select an environment? Thanks !

I think I figured out the problem. It only allows me to set a break point on the component's ts file or app.component.ts that you illustrated in the video. But what if I have other components that I want to set break points on? Thanks !

What do you mean "other components"? If there are other components being loaded by app component, the breakpoint should still get hit.

@@SahilMalik Thanks for replying !!! I would have thought so but, I can only put a breakpoint on a line of code in app.component.ts. Am i missing another entry in sourceMapPathOverrides?

@@trustingod0 Hmm shouldn't be necessary. It should work for everything except lazy loaded modules without any additional entries.

@@SahilMalik I was wondering if you could please explain why I cant set a breakpoint on any of my other files. You have to understand that this is new to me and there is a lot to know in regards to sourceMapPathOverrides. Or is there a forum that I could register to get some help with this. I really need to get up and going with being able to debug. Thanks !!!
