Thank you for this deep dive session 👌🏽Unparalleled content as always. It would be helpful if Dax debug output feature is incorporated into DAX studio as suggested. Although having to infer what's happening within the evaluation context in a separate tool might probably make it quite challenging for more complex calculations, it will be one more tool in the demystifying DAX toolkit 🤞🏽

Great video! I just started Power BI journey one month ago, and have been struggling with debugging DAX scripts. A question about DAX studio: when I right clicked on some measure from the search result, the menu only showed 2 options, one is "Show Objects That Reference Column", another one is "Preview Data". Does anyone happen to know the reason?

It seems you are right-clicking columns and not measures!

Anyone with a OpenAI/ChatGPT account could try asking the AI to find the problem. I saw a different example today and was suprised how well that AI can generate and/or validate DAX code.

If you understand the first 10% of video, it will resolve 90% of your issues. And requires 10% of skills and 10% of effort relatively to the rest 90% of video. P.S. The rest 90% of video is not healthy for your DAX skills self-appraisal 😂
