I’m just starting to learn about homeschooling. Like just discovering it and exploring it. I really appreciate your video and am on board for what you’re about! Thanks definitely going to check out more of your videos when I have more time to really pay attention! The kids are asleep finally so I’m able to watch this video uninterrupted and can put all my focus into it. Take care ❤

I think a-lot of homeschooled children are better socialized than public school children. Our children are constantly interacting with people of all ages and not just their peer Groups which gives them the ability to be more mature than if they only spent time with kids their own ages. My son was public schooled for 2 and a half years and they get in trouble for “socializing” during class, in the hallways, and in the lunchroom. We spend lots of time with every age group between church, homeschool groups, play dates, park days, field trips ect. My son turned into a totally different kid after he came home and I was able to discipline him correctly and at the moment it was needed vs hours later.

Thank you for sharing, I am a big believer that socializing around other age groups is very important for kids.

There are "weird" homeschooled kids but there are also "weird" public school kids. My experience in public school is constantly being told it's not a place to talk, make friends, this isn't social hour, etc. Even lunch and recess socializing was curtailed. So I really don't get this idea that PS is the end all and be all of socializing. My kid talks to everyone.
