Instagram (and whole internet) is filled with reels and videos promoting misinformation and pseudoscience. In this part 3 of this series Instagyan, we delve into the world of science based reels and debunk their misinformation and pseudoscience.
I am Dr. Ravi, the face of Logical Aayaam. I have a PhD in Biochemical Engineering (Masters in Biotechnology) with ton of research and teaching experience in interdisciplinary sciences, engineering and technology in multiple countries. With my knowledge and experience, I try to inculcate scientific intellect, debunk myths and bust pseudoscience (in my very little capacity). Essentially, I am trying to make YOU smart and scientific.

Par 10min pe sabko doubt hai, Evolution might not be true. Kyuki evidences sirf hypothesis hai, hypothesis (predictions) kabhi ve galat sabit hosakte. So Theory of evolution ko jithna push kia gaya, it was not worth that and is still inconclusive. Its like "aisa hosakta hai, aisa huwa hoga" par kya sach mai aisa huwa tha yeh nhi pata. Challenge with your content is what you can't fathom, isn't true, is a serious challenge with " serious scientific mindset". I will stick to Lunar cycles and Menstrual cycle, that they shall sync is an ideal aspect and being out of sync is manifested due to multiple lifestyle issues like stress, hormonal imbalance due to medical conditions. When you mix Sadhguru's points with so many such frivolous stuff, its a potpourri and sad part is you don't have actual answers, like whether moon is moving away from earth (you didn't answer), while 32 mm is very less and will amount to < 1 Km in 28 K years, you aren't sure what would be the impact of such event if any, Moon drifting away is not a joke in terms if gravitational balance and it just doesn't roams around on free will, it is precise. Your reference to lunar and menstrual cycle is just 1 paper, please there's so much more research and commentary on this. I understand you want to be famous, but this isn't a way where you are trading a tricky path of trashing all that you can't even verify. Yes I do follow Sadhguru and there's enough to critique, but not things you just can't prove. Just look at the kind of smart humans you are attracting, most of them full of themselves that they know science. There's no reason to reject scientific aspect of spirituality. Dissecting every word is of benefit only when we want to mislead, rest is your wish

Regarding Creator, yeh interesting dilemma hai. Joh shayad he kabhi solve hopaye. Yeh toh sach hai thermodynamics ke laws kehte Normal state mai har cheez disorder mai rehte jise Entropy kehte. If Creator exists which by scale by universe must be a possibility rather there is more possibility of having a creator rather not having one. In former case, these religions are meaningless, Why would Creator of such large universe want people to fight? Want people to commit genocide on other community? Or want people to protect him? He definitely doesn't need protection neither he needs these idols and images of false gods (becauze nobody can or has seen Creator) By such logic as well these babas are useless and good to throw them in dustbin.

The second clip is of a maulvi his name is engineer Rashid and he is a very well read man he was a mechanical engineer in pakistan army and then he left it. He is also a student of science and he dsnt promote superstition but yes he believes in god and so do I. I don’t think he belongs in these videos. This then becomes the debate of atheism vs religion. I pretty much like all your videos and I like your work. I have a master's degree in Physics. FYI. Evolution is just a theory. ANd you know what a scientific theory means.J.J Thomson once gave a theory about atomic structures. He was later proved wrong by Rutherford. Rutherford's theory was proven wrong by Bohr and so on. I do not find it unsceintific to challenge the theory of evolution. theory of Evolution explains the phenomenons. That does not prove that evolution is the ultimate truth. Yes, species change and adapts due to natural selection. But this does not prove that life originated by itself. Then why did it not start in Mars. Those species could evolve to adapt the thin atmosphere. lack water. Why did not non-carbon based life start based on lack of water?

1) We do not know how life originated on earth. Based on the current understanding, LUCA hypothesis makes sense. If and when we get further evidences, our understanding will get better. 2) How do you know for a fact that life did not originate on mars at one point and there is no carbon based or non-carbon based life out there or any where else in the universe? We simply do not know yet.

Perhaps you never understood what we refer to as God. God has created everything, all the laws of physics. IF he wills he can make the protons revolve around electrons for example. He has engineered the complex network neurons in your brain that you are using to challenge his/her existence. The complex netwrok of neurons, the complex orchastration of miillions of delicate chemical reactions in our body just did start out of the blue from a primordal soup.
