Epic! Saved! Subscribed! This playing is awesome The dr gradus is very controlled and all of his notes are very elegant The golliwogg is also special, and his technique is very professional and his expression The others are also very great! The snow is dancing is really good! His notes make it hear like the snow falling delicately to the ground, and the staccato is very precise (rhythm-wise) The little shepherd is excellent in the fact that it hears like pan pipes! Also, the serenade is very beautiful. The jimbo is very skilled playing! Bravo and congrats! Thanks for uploading this vid and 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😀👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😀👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😀👍👍😀👍👍👍👍👍

The criticism I find odd. This "concert" is free on youtube! Whadyawant for nothing? Rubber biscuits? I find a lot to admire in this performer and there was a great deal of precision and charm expressed. Some performers draw you in and you feel an urge to learn the instrument. Others, just as skilled, will make you want to give up since you can never be that good. This gentleman is in the former category.

Bè... non esageriamo. Però... a volte la musica rapisce nel vero senso della parola e per te è stata peggio degli alieni, anzi meglio visto ne hai ricavato una GRANDE soddisfazione.

To xiaddo100 - excellent observation. I think you're correct - the wrist placement and fingering is a lot like Gould, and I now notice the physicality and mannerisms once you mention it. Love Gould, so I guess that explains why I love Bruno's playing so much!

This is a suite with many movements. It is usual curtesy to refrain from clapping until the end of the whole suite.

I personally think that the Gradus should have an accelerando at the end, but good articulation and everything else ( rhythm, dynamics, etc.)

His notes were very clear and note-able (pun intended) during Doctor Gradus, but I think he could have used the pedal, and merged the notes a little more...

Superb finger technique! He and Glenn Gould have similar bodily and facial movements. Perhaps he has watched too many of Gould's psychopianism.

Meg Owen we cannot know for sure, because this concert was recorded by RAI and they use to cover the makes with tape. Anyway, at 11:27 we can see the Steinway and Sons's logo, so this could be one of that pianos!

+highlandsh ¿Why would you post something for all to see if you don't want their opinion? Musicians are used to receive both positive and negative comments from day one at the music conservatory, and they go to music school sometimes for over a decade. Art doesn't flourish by staying in a criticism free bubble, so stop worrying about musicians feelings, they know how to handle criticism. They live after all from provoking emotions in the audience and knowing exactly what emotions they provoke, positive or negative, will surely help.
