I lived near Maryland University for awhile. These guys used to have rehearsals that were open to the public. It was fascinating and riveting. Just to get to take a peek under the hood was wonderful. Maybe it's because I'm a musician, but those were exciting events. This Debussy is fantastic.

I remember that! I lived in the DC area at the time and went to one of those rehearsals. They were always one of my favorite groups - the energy and very personal interpretations were something to behold.

Is that Roisman's violin that Steinhardt is playing? The Guarneri had a great sound and wonderful ensemble control.
