Thank you for introducing me to this beautiful piece! I don't listen to Debussy that often, but this may be one of my favorite pieces by him.

Thank you for introducing me this gem! I didn’t know of this prelude even if I played piano for over 20 years. I expect this prelude to be helpful for me how to use pentatonic mode when composing, because I’m Korean. I’m looking forward to see more of pentatonic/oriental based music on your channel. Recently I’ve had an opportunity to accompany and coach chorus part of Turandot and I was fascinated by Puccini’s wondrous skill of combining oriental elements and with western classical music. I’m searching for the books, documents, videos and any kinds of resources which will help me to understand deeper on such musical style since then, unfortunately none of them hasn’t satisfied me until now. I hope your some of your next videos include Turandot or Madama Butterfly in the near future. Thank you very much as always.

*Goose* Joking aside, I always have questioned why this piece doesn't have more recognition than "The Girl with the Flaxen Hair" within the entire prelude sets.

I prepared and played this for my college! You guys should reaaally check out Vikingur Olafsson’s version, although more free of rhythm, i find it quite tender and moving.
