Like we discussed before, they definitely are front loading the retail. You saw my first two with an auto in each. I got 4 autos out of 6 boxes plus about 2 #’d cards per box. From this week and last week, 6 blasters bombed. No autos and like 1 #’d per box. I also picked up 2 more Bowman blasters and basically got skunked. So if you don’t get in on the first wave, I think it’s better to buy the singles you want. Can’t wait for your Series 2 preview!

Awesome rip, brother! I really dig this set, with the good mix of rookies, veterans, and hall of famers. That Pee Wee Reese blue refractor card is beautiful, plus he'll always be an all-time favorite player of mine. He visited my grandmother in the hospital, when she was dying of cancer, and that meant the world to her, as she was a die-hard DODGERS fan. I've been on a break from ripping, but I believe I'm gonna have to pick up a few boxes of this, and see what happens. Thanks for sharing, my friend, and keep on rippin'!!

Those blasters were hot hot hot. I bought 4 got 6 numbered cards and 3 auto 2 of which were numbered. Hobby was ok only reason I did ok was I hit the city variation pack and some nice hits too.

Thanks for the video! I bought 2 Platinum hobby boxes, 1 from Fanatics, and the second from a LCS. I was a bit disappointed. The lowest numbered card that I pulled was to 75 and both autos were unpopular RC autos. The QC was bad too. I pulled about 7-8 cards that I'm going to send back to Topps for replacements due to scratches. There were even more damaged cards but not of anyone of note. I saw double autos and cards numbered 50 or less flying out of 2022 Platinum hobby box breaks and out of several 2023 Platinum hobby breaks. However, I did get 6 numbered cards out of the 2 boxes. It was still a fun rip. I went 1 for 2 with retail blasters so far.

@@westernnycards Oh yeah, several times. I just keep a stack of damaged cards (all chrome) and send them with invoice claims in one shipment to save money shipping. I hate I have to pay more money for Topps to give me what I already paid for initially. However, it is waaay worse to deal with Panini and their bad cards.

Last night I bought the last 3 blasters at Walmart. There were 6 hits. First box had base auto, one numbered card /499 and another numbered card /100. Second box had one hit /75. Third box had an auto /199 and speckled /150. This is the first year since 1994 that I’ve opened current year cards.

Something to watch on these prisms is the golds, they can look pretty close to a normal. I pulled an Adley Rutschman gold prism, they are a /9 print run.

Sweet cards! I get excited getting a numbered card, but then excitement fades quick when even a numbered auto to 75 is only valued at about 3$.

I wouldn’t sell a /75 for 3 bucks no matter who it is lol if you’re seeing that on eBay, that was prob an auction which is not a smart way to sell cards. Some people haven’t figured that out yet lol thanks Adam!

Where is Adley, Gunnar, Judge, Volpe, Shohei, and all the other big rookies and stars? The only time I see these guys is on base cards. It's like trying to find Waldo when he's not even there. I've seen a ton of rips here on YT and notta. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the rip and chrome platinum, but u didn't even get any of these guys' base cards. Guess that's what happens when u have a big checklist. Sorry, I don't mean to be negative. Hope u get some bigger hits next time

So what gives, Walgreens has been selling 2-packs with a pack of "H" from '22 Platinum Anniv. I opened over 50 with the T.P.A. pack on top, and (NO LIE) found a total of 1 #'d, 0 top rc's, & zero autos. I didn't expect an auto, but the 1 #'d in over 50 "H" packs is impossible unless a scam is going in behind the scenes.

@@westernnycards I almost wish I could say customers in the stores had weighed them. But 3 of the 4 times I saw the display I was the first to buy them. If the #'d cards weigh more, even a tad, maybe snakes at MJ are snatching them up before packaging them. Because the 2nd pack is usually a '22 series 1 or 2. And IMO it would seem near impossible to pick out the weight of the #'d TPA pack, when there's a 16 card Topps pack behind it. I suspect bad things due to the 2-packs from Big Lots a few years ago which also had a heritage "H" pack in half of the display. Those "H" packs were ALL DUDS as well. So IMO Fanatics & MJH have lots of explaining to do with these Walgreens. At minimum, scum at MJ are taking the good ones before packaging them for Walgreens. 55 pack sample size is enough for me to know I shouldn't be left with just commons and 1 #'d mid level player. By next week my website should be public. It'll be titled prob "The Card Board". All complaints, whistleblowers, and look-out-fors will be logged by anyone who optically appears credible, for the public to see. I specifically wanna see whatnot & Panini be exposed as they deserve. Gonna have the site for sale at any time. And will see if one of these big companies with the most bones to hide, buys it up and buried it.
