I watched a ranking video for Male Kpop Groups 2017 and SEVENTEEN was ranked third. When I read the comments, everyone was saying how BTS and Got7 and EXO should be top 3. I didnt see one comment that said SEVENTEEN deserved it. Even though they did.

Yeah, 2pm, Shinhwa and SuJu have changed a lot, but it was more of like a "10/9 years ago" (which is old-fashioned for us) vs "the modern present", while VIXX and Block B debuted with a generic and popish song, but as the years passed, they (as a group) found their true color and you can tell that seeing their oldest vs their latest song...

Yeah, exactly. What I meant was their musical direction and overall group concept. 2pm, Shinhwa and SuJu are consistent in those two things, even though they have changed greatly through the years.

Well, Shinhwa and Super Junior are consistent in their group concept because that's the flavor and style the group is! Some companies start out a group with a concept that doesn't fit, and over time they grow though into a good groove; but some debut in that groove.

after seeing this vid i realize who fans nowadays are super crazy about their bands thinking they really have best performance "visual , clothes and all other effects that can help to make you shine" comparing to old bands it's a total different i mean in the time legendary bands were still in 2005-2006 themselves working on their own look meanwhile bands since 2011 til now have already ppl to help them out besides fashion is almost the same but of course it wasn't 10-12 years ago .. quality of their music videos has changed .. WOW it's really such a perfect thing for all those old bands to still going on til now even after all the offered help for new bands .. well those bands what i'd call legends .. nowadays bands are good real good and still in their twenties but old bands will always have their own charm and talent .. with all love to EXO , BTS and others of 2010s .. but full loyal and respect to kpop legends SUPER JUNIOR , BIGBANG , TVXQ and many others .. your vid is precious it really showed me how massive change kpop world went through from nothing to make everything easier for new bands little note : i love how eunhyuk has always been so charming while rolling around and doing all those moves that real dance machines will do .. ah went from some random boys to kings .. i really feel so proud of our boys

Oh finally someone like me :'c It's been a while I don't really like BTS' musics and some other "rookie groups" :/ I don't know I kinda feel it's almost american pop or what. When I first listened to Kpop it was so different, like it wasn't about popularity but more about extremely unique concepts or being cute af Nowadays, Kpop has become popular, it has good aspects but also bad aspects ... Sunny Monroe I'm really glad they didn't disband. I was loving their newest song (not Nu'est W) and waiting for a comeback. When I heard they were going on Produce 101, I was shocked. I seriously never knew they were that close to disbandment. I thought because of SEVENTEEN they'd keep going, and I thought they had enough fans anyways. I hope they become popular now.
