How VTA will base their 3400s. 3401-3446 are Cerone units, 3447-3470 are Chaboya units, and 3471-3492 are North units. The last Chaboya 3400 entered into service was 3470.

Incorrect, a VTA driver has confirmed that North will not be getting any new buses, instead they’re getting more 0100s to replace old buses. 3447-3492 will be Chaboya.

The only thing I absolutely hate of the new busses (minus removing the cousin seats) is the only speaker to announce the stops is the one next to the driver, there’s a bunch of “speaker holes” dotted across the bus, why don’t they use them!

i can’t tell sometimes… me it’s the buttons that work less than half the time

@ you can tell where the sound of the announcements come from, earlier today I got a bus where the working speaker was above me and I sat beside the rear door. Also a kinda agree with the buttons but I rarely use them, the cable is better and feels better

The transmission sounds nice but admittedly not as nice as the 2010 or 2011 buses
