😧🫤🫣❤what started out I thought 💭 was a mistery romance, but turned out to be a suspension mystery romance about 2 souls from the padt destine to be together but other forces separated them but thru time found each other, especially after the love potion that untied his heart and memories. 😮new cast and crew members who had decent acting skills and good looking and good chemistry. My rating is a A. Thanks ❤

It's love from their past life and has nothing to do with the love potion. The love kicked in the moment they met at the shrine. Shinyu's feelings for Hongjo started almost immediately. It's obvious that he cared about the things she said in his office and started thinking of her. He accepted the offer to work at the city hall because she works there. He insisted to go to her place after work to see the spell book because he wanted to see her. After fighting off the drunken guy in the alleyway he holds her hand so naturally, when apparently he did not even hold his girlfriend's hand. He had never developed any feelings for anyone including his girlfriend. She chased after him, he did not love her but he accepted her and agreed to marry her because she met the criteria (pretty, wealthy, high social status matching his). It might just happen in kdramas but it seems that in S Korea it's pretty common for people in the elite class to get married without love, the marriage is for mutual benefits to the families.. Some comments said he cheated on his GF, in the first half of the drama he tried to resist the affection for Hongjo, he didn't think he would fall for her and the feelings were due to the love spell. But it was getting more and more difficult for him, we can see his struggles and pain in ep. 7 and 8. Deep inside he kinda realized that it was love, and confessed to Hongjo when he was drunk. After recollected his past life memories he knew he loved Hongjo, and he broke up with his GF right away. In the last scene Mujin (Shinyu past life) went back and took away the blue spell book after he buried it. I think that gives a subtle hint that the love spell wouldn't work as the spell book they found in the wooden box was not the original one (probably a copy by Mujin). So the spells in that book, or at least the spells that need to burn the page in the process, would not work as it was not written by Aengcho. P.S. Love Rowoon after watching this drama, have finished watching his other dramas, variety shows and many videos of him. He not just look good and handsome in suits, he looks good in anything. He looks good even in country farmer woman's outfit and Snow White dress Lol... No kidding he was so playful, so cute and handsome in Snow White dress!

I saw this comment from @intricatelymeintricatelywhole , this might explain it for you @shobanaraj5378 "For those who was saying they both cheated... Shin-yu [ML] had lot of things going on and She was just plain bad and obsessive... Shin-yu didn't love her but was loyal to her and remember he was seriously ill so he broke up with her bcoz he didn't want to hurt her she didn't want to break up she was pestering herself on him and at the beginning he was so confused with his illness curse and then magic potion and he was having flashbacks of his previous life too anybody could be confused and he was continuously looking out that the fl liked second lead so he couldn't do anything and as soon as He was sure with his feelings and Hongjo's feeling he told her and asked her to be patient because he want to give their relationship a proper start and didn't want anyone to blame her or badmouth about her. She crossed the line first until the very last moment he was trying to be respectful to his ex too even though he knew she cheated on him. Even his Grandma told him that it's no use of staying loyal alone. (The writing in this show has so many layers and it shows the conflicts confusion and then start clearing things up one by one) I am glad that they showed character's growth and maturity
