A buddy of mine who is no longer with us recommended to me your album Snakes and Birds a few years back and ever since I have been an avid listener of all your work. To say that your music has had a deep emotional and profound impact on my life would be an understatement. I don’t think I would still be here today if it weren’t for that album getting me through some seriously tough times and it still continues to this day. Cheers to the new release! RIP Paul. Forever grateful. ❤

That's beautiful, man. I won't say that I wish that my best friend had done the same but I can only imagine how helpful that's been.. music is so important.

It's cool that right after the reference to Major Deegan, a bell note is heard, as the similarly named Deagan percussion company (based in Chicago) produced bells beginning in 1918.

Aesop Rock and Billy Woods definitely give him a run for his money in hip hop; outside of hip hop, in folk, my main genre, there's Joanna Newsom, Richard Dawson, and Adrianne Lenker. A youth Poet Laureate, Kara Jackson, put out a fantastic album with really poignant lyricism. I agree that he's definitely a contemporary top 10, but he's not beating Aesop Rock or Joanna Newsom for me, personally.

Deca the bard, the penman and of the people. I found your stuff years ago and has been a soundtrack of seemingly unobtainable growth and truth. So much respect to the craft and being the silent peak of hip-hop.

Love Ya, Mister 10! I love and appreciate your perspective and enchanting poetry. Your concise and eloquent delivery of your ideas are an ideal many other artists should aspire to. Your videos are a spectacular rendering of your imagination. It's incredible to see what you bring to the show. Hope you're feeling good 😅
