Amir Adnani is the primary reason UEC became one of my top 3 holdings. He’s a sharp cookie and he has lots of skin in the game. the first 2x already happened, here’s to a few more.

UEC is currently priced at 780 P/E ... not exactly a good entry point.

@centurione6489 Yes but it's a growth company. It's net income is low, because of the past bear market. Future looks good for uranium, and if the company hasn't made substantial net income year to year, naturally their P/E will be high.

My dad used to run URI (uranium resources corp) and did this type of mining in south texas in the late 70's. The technology was developed by Mobile oil initially. This solution mining really is a cleaner way to mine and I'm all for it. I thought UEC had properties in south Texas as well. I'm thinking they may be some of URI's older properties. I asked Amir on twitter but he never replied. Bill Mcknight used to be Mobile's top engineer on solution mining. He worked for URI back in the day. At the time they had the lowest cost to produce but after the Russians starting dumping U308 on the market it put the industry into a bear market that lasted over 30 years. This day has been a long long time coming.

You are correct they have a project in So texas. (Which is in care and maintenance) first restart has always been in Wyoming. Texas next year. Check website? Tell your dad Hello! And great story. 👍

@@chadg7457 Sorry he passed back in 2010. I wished he could have lived long enough to see this industry finally wake up. He literally died waiting. IMO, its the only real solution to deliver large amounts of clean base load energy. Germany thought renewables was the answer. Now they are doubling down on coal to meet their needs. I still am vested in mining stocks and at one point had a value of 30K. Today its value is hitting around 167K. I can see that going over 300K in the next couple years.

Kazatomprom is having production issues and their production outputs will drop. This is the main reason we are seeing some spikes in equity this week. Forget Congress not banning Russian pounds. Like Amir says its mostly going to China now and the production is dropping. There is not even enough supply to meet current demand right now let alone all numerous new reactors that will go online in the coming years.

no, it wont drop, it wont just ramp up as previusly planed. And thats enough to presure the spot marked because all the JV´s of KAZ have to buy on the Spotmarket and KAZ have to use its inventory to get their deliverys done.

Disagree. Why are you closely monitoring the P/E of a company that hasn't made income in the previous years? Of course there P/E ratio is going to be high. This is a great entry point.

@@DdDd-pk4pu Especially from the start of the year. Still pretty volatile when you watch it day to day but overall I'm seeing a nice growth over time. This bull market will continue for some time to come. But I've waited since 2014. Tired of waiting but will likely start to sell some of my stock when it hits 200 dollars/lb.
